UH hi welcome to the blog where I dump everything about this peak ship because I'm not okay in the head. Will be reblogging or sharing art and stuff involving Rodger and Vee (dw I'll tag the posts accordingly if they're ship art or not), and also yap about them sometimes. Feel free to follow this blog if you want to see stuff about this rarepair, or block if you don't fw it. I'm cool either way.

Why do I ship them?

I plan to make a whole post about why I pair Rodger and Vee (personalities, intelligence, conflict, headcanons, how I imagine their dynamic), but tl;dr they're my two favorite characters in DW, they're attractive, and I love playing as them.

Expect Flyte to be around occasionally, because he's my 3rd fav, and he might as well be the wingman (and uhhh the Black Forest Birds from Project Moon, too, since I'm also obsessed with them)

By the way, I rarely engage in shipping culture (sometimes it leaks into "professional media" and makes them suck), but Rodger x Vee is an exception personally, so I want to dedicate a whole blog to them. Sometimes, I realize the evidence pointing to destiny for me to ship these two.

I bought a CRT 📺

I scoured online for WEEKS looking for something like this. Never really knew just how rare they're becoming now. So I found this lil Toshiba 13" TV/VCR combo for about $100, and naturally I scooped it up immediately.

I set it up to try out some old games (and a few of my own)!

This thing is still surprisingly crisp! I'm using a standard AV>HDMI hookup to display as a PC monitor and the quality/sound is great. The only thing that kinda sucks is the h o r r i b l e whine that emanates from the tube (standard in nearly all old CRTs). It's kind of a like a dog whistle, where I think only certain people can hear it, but when they do- oh boy it hurts. I have to take a break every so often or else my head will explode haha.

If you can get a hold of one of these in decent shape for a good price, I highly recommend it for trying old games out on. Especially if you're a dev working on a low-poly project.
