I can’t stop thinking about the potential of an AU where Olessa figured out that aging charlatan’s No U spell. Yeah, the one that he’d used to “win her over”. The damage Uno reverse card.

And if she used it on said man right when he thinks she's done for.

He’s standing over her deathbed to gloat after “finally” getting an heir out of her. And he tells her what she probably already suspected he did to Parras. Then (although tbh, I don’t know how this spell works, so this could be impossible for her) he gets all the damage reversed onto him. Feels all the…effects of what he forced her to go through. The man who is used to controlling everything and everyone, who hijacked her body and murdered her lover, is now writhing on the floor and has probably lost control of even his own bladder lmao.

And Olessa gets up, her strength returning, and just leaves the room. She possibly takes Irik as she leaves, or doesn’t, depending on how she copes and how she feels about the boy himself. I don’t know what she should say in this AU or if she would say anything at this point.

Yeah, some people who adore Azalin aren’t gonna be happy with me if they see this potential AU :P

Songbird’s Day in the Rain

Hi, I’m Brooke. I made Ziz fanart and fanfiction. Enjoy <3

This is suppose to give off a children’s book vibe incase you couldn’t tell. 

“Drip drop, drip drop,” Said the rain knocking on Songbird’s window.  “R-Rain day!” Said Songbird with glee. She jumped out of bed, and down the stairs. She ran straight to the kitchen to where Nicholas was making breakfast.  “C-c-can I go out to-today?” Ask Songbird. “Madame Gauy always makes c-cookies on rainy days! C-can I go see her, p-p-please?” “After breakfast.” Said Nicholas. He then placed a plate of toast with jam, a side fruit and a glass of juice to go with it. Songbird globbled her breakfast down. When she was finished she ran to the coat rack.  “Nicholas, c-can you help me with m-my jacket?” She bounced as she spoke. Her wings flapped with joy. She was so excited for today! Nicholas nodded as he came to help her put on a pair of oversized boots, and a big yellow jacket. 

“Now remember to go straight to the Madame’s house. Don’t get to wet in the rain now or you’ll catch a cold.” Songbird nodded at Nicholas spoke to her. She rushed out the door when the last botton was snapped. The rain was sprinkling on her and she grinned as she fluttered down the muddy road.

After she a while of walking she ran into her good friend Thom. Thom was easy to spot with his big yellow umbrella.  “T-thom!” Songbird jumped her way over to him, causing the puddles to splish and splash.  “Ah, Songbird! It’s so nice to see you. Out to play in the puddles today?”. Thom put the umbrella above both of them. “Or are you going to go see Madame Gauy today?”. The little blue ziz nods. Thom ruffled Songbirds hair and smiled at her.  “You still have a while to get there. Here you can borrow my umbrella. I’m going to go visit Nicholas, so I know I’ll see you later.” Thom put the umbrella handle into songbirds hand. The big yellow umbrella was almost twice the size of the little blue Ziz. Songbird smiled with glee. “Have fun in the rain, Songbird” Thom said as he waved goodbye. 

“B-bye bye!!” Songbird flapped her wings in an almost wave motion. Songbird continued on her adventure. Every puddle she pasted got a good stomping with her big yellow boots. She chirp and giggled with joy with each splash. 

After walking and splashing puddles all morning Songbird finally made it to Madame’s Gauy house. The madame’s house was built inside a huge oak tree and was one of the bigger Ziz homes in the area. The Madame was a quiet older Ziz and she was friendly towards everyone. Songbird bounced on the wooden steps up to the door. She tugged on the rope of the welcoming bell next to the door. Ding ding ding ding, the bell went. As she waited Songbird closed the big yellow umbrella. 

The door inched opened slowly, a pair of eyes peeked out to see who was there. Suddenly the door was rushed open. The Madame pour out to greet the little blue ziz. She hugged her and pulled her inside. The Madame helped Songbird out her jacket and shoes. Waiting for Songbird was a plate of cookies and a glass of milk. Madame Gauy knew Songbird would come sooner or later. Songbird always visited her on rainy days. 

Together they sat in the parlor eating cookies. Today’s cookie was a oatmeal and cranberry cookie. Madame Gauy wasn’t much of a talker, but neither was Songbird. They enjoyed each other’s company though. They sat quietly as the rain grew heavier and bounced off the window.
