A benevolent spirit dressed like a champion of old!
I met this group of travelers in Gerudo Canyon. They had been captured and terrorized by the bokoblins that made a foothold on the cliffs, and had nearly lost all hope when a "spirit descended from the mountains and slew all the monsters with a glowing sword!" as told by Oliff, one of the travelers.
According to Palme, another victim and the last to be saved, after the spirit vanquished the final bokoblin it disappeared in blue light.
I don't know what that's about, it sounds like a dream, doesn't it? But if Calamity Ganon's monsters disappear in dark smoke, maybe the blue light is a sign of something more... divine?
Locals have started calling this guy "the spirit of farore" so maybe they're on to something?
