Say “We need to talk” … and I’ll generate a starter for what our muses have to have a serious talk about and/or confess: (1-40, mixture of angst, fluff and drama)
My muse has been lying about their identity to yours
A loud scoff erupted from his lungs as his arms crossed on his chest, eyebrows raising, eyes hidden behind sunglasses as dark as the night but his eyes were closed anyway, a quick blink to let his words sink in. Quicker was the little gulp Zeus swallowed down his throat as his lips tugged upwards. Almost enjoying the other confusion, actually, every single action made until that point was set up to confuse the other.
“And so what if I’m lying to you? Has the idea of me not wanting you in any trouble crossed your mind?” He asked, the edges of his words stabbing. “I’m a selfish millionare bastard, is that what you want to hear? That I kill and order others to kill for a living?” His head shook twice, when he stopped, a hand brushed his hair backwards and sighed. “Of course not, you want me to go for a walk, talk about nothing and then not see each other in weeks. A normal, type of relationship if you ask me.”
The sudden outburst has Minseok completely taken aback; when he had asked why the other hadn’t been around the past few months he definitely wasn’t expecting an answer like this. Minseok had first met the older through a mutual friend when he had just entered university. And maybe it had been the way Zeus spoke confidently or the way that he didn’t seem to care what other people thought, but Minseok had liked him right away. Although Zeus had always been a little mysterious, they still got along well enough to meet for drinks every month or so, trading weird stories and complaining about life. The older had become someone that Minseok could rely on; or at least he thought he could. Minseok had always admired the way that Zeus would speak his mind and he thought that it meant that he was an honest person... but now...
“I just didn’t think that you of all people would lie to me like this.” Even if Zeus had only been lying to protect him, Minseok couldn’t help but feel disappointed. His stomach twists and his eyebrows crease in angrily as he reaches for his beer. But even after his hand closes around the bottle he can’t bring himself to drink it, tapping his fingers against the glass in annoyance. “You just assumed that I wanted a normal friendship, right? If you had asked me I would have told you that I never wanted that. I’d rather have your honesty than a fake mask you think I’d like.” Irritated, he slams the bottle against the table, meeting the other’s eyes straight on. “So what happens now? You said you wanted to protect me but you’ve already told me.” The corner of his lip curls up and he laughs mirthlessly. “Are you going to kill me too?”
