olitdp update

hello! i know it has been a ridiculously long time since i last posted - once again. i will not bother you with excuses, but i do come bearing good news!

the first draft of chapter 29 is finished - i'm hoping to publish by wednesday or thursday, depending on how well the rewrite goes. but at some point in the coming week, the new chapter will be up. currently, it's at 5,5k - i'm guessing the final word count will be somewhere around 6k.

this will be the penultimate chapter of our love is these days' piano - so we are very close to the end!

thank you all so much for your patience and your interest in the story, even though updates have been so irregular. the support you guys have given me has been awe-inspiring.

olitdp chapter 28 update

chaper 28 is currently 4k, with the last scene of the three (had to push the fourth one to the next chapter - what else is new?) still needing some polishing. when done, the chapter will probably be somewhere between 4.5 and 5k.

but i'm fairly certain it will be up this week - by friday or saturday, i would say.

if my current planning holds up - but as i have just proved, once again, that rarely happens - the story will end with chapter 30.

so the end is drawing very near!

for anyone who is still interested, chapter 22 of our love is these days' piano is nearly finished. i will post it tomorrow or the day after at the very latest, so the update is planned for 2023 still!

Hi how are you doing? I’m one of the readers of your penthony fic and I can’t believe how absorbed I am into the story. I can actually imagine these characters interacting the way you wrote to the point where I don’t know if I can watch the third season lmao. You’ve set high expectations for the romance. i have been meaning to post an update on the story for a while, so thank you for reminding me once more.

in case anyone has been wondering: the story has definitely not been abandoned. i fully mean to finish it as soon as i can - i've been thinking about it non-stop.

i've just literally had no time to write. i decided to go back into teacher training so i can teach more subjects. because i'm already a teacher, i can do a shorter version of the programme, which means i'm doing a three-year-course in one year and i have been completely overwhelmed with work and lesson prep. i've quite literally been doing twelve-hour days, every day, since mid-september.

on top of that, there has been a medical emergency in my family that i've been trying to deal with. so all in all, there has been very little room for anything but work and family in my life.

but i'm hoping that by the end of november, things will have slowed down some, and i can go back to telling penelope and anthony's story.

i am so so sorry for the unintentional hiatus. i realise some people might not want to wait that long for an update. i cannot promise to do it any faster, but i can promise that the update will come.

in case anyone is wondering, i have been writing chapter 17 of our love is these days’ piano this past week - sadly, i caught a bad bout of stomach flu/food poisoning over the weekend so i have not made as much progress as i would have wanted. 

i’m currently at 1,4k, so i’m about halfway there. hopefully i’ll manage to post the chapter this week!
