I love Oliver I love nerdy characters who are actually extremely handy in a fight, dependent and clingy but loyal to a fault, emotional and panicky but they lock in during emergencies because they're the only ones prepared, selfish and possessive at times but ultimately trying to be good,,, he deserves better

"Only you and I could've [figured that out], that's why we're best friends" Nolastname would EVER be (seriously) homophobic to Kaz or stop being friends with him bc of his sexuality is laughable
I was curious about Jake Short's height, as I usually place Oliver around 6'0" at his adult height (second only to Adam & maybe Troy), so I looked it up and. Uh. Apparently his official height is 5'9"? Which, idk if you know this, but Bradley S. Perry is 5'8"
So they're really trying to tell us that Oliver is one inch taller than Kaz... okay

Stalker!Oliver is so funny bc it actually completely contradicts his character entirely. Yes Oliver can be clingy and dependent at times but HE IS THE THERAPY SPEAK FRIEND. Trust me if he's in a relationship he's the one preaching the importance of independence and healthy boundaries and self-love. No don't look at Kaz (theyre holding hands as he gives this speech) that's not important
My hc last names for Kaz & Oliver:

Krane (see my theory abt Kaz being Krane's relative)
Kazlauskas (most common surname in Lithuania which is where the name Kazimieras comes from, fits his theme)
Oliver
King (parallel to Oliver Queen from DC Comics, specifically I think it's his mom's surname since she most definitely didn't take her husbands', "Bridget King" also fits w the genderfuckery Bridget had going on as Mr. Terror & whatnot)
Marliver but like in the way where they're both arospec & Marcus is mostly touch-averse except w selective people and Oliver has OCD & can't touch anyone for multiple reasons anyway. But they manage to be each other's safe space because hey, they Get It. And Marcus doesn't do romance or even friendship but they like attention (NPD) and they get super possessive/attached (BPD) so Oliver is Theirs And No One Else's, Thanks. And Oliver is super codependent and clingy as we all know so this arrangement works out fine. Their relationship might even maybe one day progress to (gasp) holding hands (gasp) in public. Or maybe just maybe one (1) hug when one of them's on their deathbed or something.
In honor of aromantic awareness week, I'd like to talk about my aromantic EFCU headcanons!
I headcanon Oliver from Mighty Med as aromantic, specifically cupioromantic (being aromantic but desiring/being open to a romantic relationship) and aromantic allosexual (aromantic but not asexual). I think his "crush" on Skylar was a mix of hero worship and comphet. Oliver is a clingy, dependent character and I've always thought his character arc should revolve around learning to be his own person, and him being aromantic just fits that so well :)
(I also hc him as being a relationship anarchist in a QPR w Kaz.)
Next up is Marcus Davenport. I hc them as aromantic asexual. They're just not "wired" that way (lol). I also hc them as aplatonic (no platonic attraction). That being said, I more specifically hc them as bellusromantic (liking some aspects of romantic relationships) as I think they would enjoy receiving attention. This goes kind of hand-in-hand w/ my NPD & BPD Marcus hcs.
I also hc Troy West as aromantic asexual, specifically on the autoromantic spectrum.
