He had just ended an 8-year relationship; she was a rebound (unfortunately for her feelings). She definitely fell harder than him. But I think they held the situation pretty well!

Oh my god lmao. This is a long story, but I'll try to summarize. To be clear, I don't think they had a super serious relationship; in my view, it was more like a fling

After Austin broke up with Vanessa, he was in Australia filming Elvis (late 2019 until March 2021), and during that time he was single there were rumors that he was with Olivia (even extras on set said they were together, people in restaurants also spotted them getting cozy). So, for a year, they had a fling, and I think Olivia got hurt, lol. After he wrapped Elvis, he flew to London (in April), and then there were 4 months without any news from him or Olivia, I believe their fling ended and fizzled and in August he was seen kissing Lily Rose, Olivia got mad and liked comments on her post (which has since been deleted) from some people saying she deserves better than him. That being said, 4 months later he started dating Kaia and there was no more tea about Olivia and him except for the fact that she started hanging out with Vanessa Hudgens lol but then Austin and Olivia did the Elvis press tour together and they seemed pretty okay with each other, no beef, laughing, talking but after the Awards Season ended in 2023 she unfollowed him. And that's pretty much it

She even posted this in her stories after the Oscars. I think they worked through it but she really needed to let it go, I think that's why she unfollowed him and also deleted the pics of him on her Instagram
