I don't understand Damon stans who truly believes he is not a rapist even though this dude is a repeat offender. He raped and abused Caroline even though the writers like to act it didn't happen. He tried to compel Elena to be attracted to and kiss him in like the 3 episodes of the show and her vervain necklace was the only thing saving her. Then he tried to forcibly kiss her and killed her brother when he was rejected. Then after being rejected by both Elena and Katherine, he decides to give Andie Star the Caroline treatment.

Throughout the show, Damon shows us time after time that he neither respects or values women and views them as less than humans even his supposed true love.
