In the spirit of @artsymeeshee call of being self indulgent (and a 4 hour car ride) can I talk about my OC? I’ve never made an OC that fits into a existing media before…well no that’s a lie I had a Warrior Cat OC when I was 10 but that was forever ago. She’s been in my head a bit.

Olivia Rivers. A 54 year old witch. As in bibbity bobity boo you’re a toad if you make her mad kind. She has long dark red hair she keeps pinned up in braids. Sometimes with bobbles tied in them. At her age there are some grey streaks but she’s aging gracefully. She is frustrated by her need for glasses though. 5’8 and very sturdy from all her wonderings with bright green eyes.

She has a constant need to travel. Some call it wanderlust others say it’s an inability to settle down. She’ll spend seasons in places then move on. One of these places she circles around to is a house she built in the woods of Gravity Falls in the 70s where she may have run into a certain scientist.

Very Bi and very open about it.

Stubborn, curious, confident, independent, a bit of a hippy, and absolutely no deep lying commitment issues, trauma, and depression.

Ask me about her! Pls I’m only an hour into this trip lol.

This could have been a great book. Instead the male lead is a total asshole and the female lead, well, she's ok. Mostly I'm just furious that the male lead is literally a complete asshole and that's just fine for everyone like nbd I just flipped off a girl BECAUSE she was Deaf. And then suddenly he's halfway in love with Ali because she's being abused by her dad, same as he was, and I just can't deal with Jace, he's fucking ridiculous. Don't get me wrong there were bright spots but they were sincerely overshadowed. And seriously has the author ever met a PoC? Ever? Because no PoC is going to describe themselves as having skin a color between 'cocoa and burnt umber' I'm so mad.
