5 reasons why you should read: Olympian Challenger - Astrid Arditi
Unlike basically all the books I usually read, this doesn't take dozens of pages to things start happening. Everything starts right in the first chapter and you already have the invitation in the first scene - honestly, I would love if it was always like that. No, it’s not like we just jump into action, but the invitation came then we have context
It has an amazing Greek mythology. Astrid explores the myths in a very interesting and funny way. One can say it's a mix of Percy Jackson and Hunger Games
All the trials! It's kind of weird to put it like that, but I enjoyed it so much! They're all related to some of the most famous stories about the Greek heroes and it was pretty interesting.
The friendships bonds that were developed was relatable, and believable, and it just feels right, you know? The main trio was well balanced and it was very interesting to see these two characters that were basically opposites interacting so goodly
Hope Diaz. It's so weird having a character that's not stupid. I think it's hilarious that she didn't even wanna accept the invitation, it wasn't "hey, a mysterious invitation that dares me to make something stupid, I'm definitely going to do something crazy"; She's good, merciful, and she worries so much about her mother.
Bonus just look at this cover. that's all
