Cat or Dog?
I started writing these out in the tags of another post for some reason and now am just not stopping, so I figured I'd make my own post.
Lucifer is dog-coded. He's a standoffish previously abused shelter dog that sits on the other side of the couch from you and sighs wistfully.
Mammon is dog-coded. He's a hyper as fuck golden lab that WILL get on your lap, any obstacles be damned.
Levi is cat-coded. He's the sort of cat that is always hiding somewhere. You never fuckin' see him, but his food bowl periodically needs refilling and sometimes if you wake up suddenly in the night, you'll find him curled up with you.
Satan is cat-coded. He's a tom cat that's usually fairly personable, but has strong boundaries that he will enforce with violence with zero warning.
Asmo is cat-coded. He's the sort of cat that shoves what you're doing out of the way to come lick himself while he sits on your lap and if you don't pet him while this is happening, he will bite you.
Beel is dog-coded. He's a huge, subdued guard dog that is really excited on walks or at mealtimes, but otherwise just lays beside you either napping or just wagging his tail. Champion at begging for table scraps, though.
Belphie is cat-coded. He's the lazy as fuck cat you have to periodically wake up because you're worried he died. Nope. Just asleep. Watched him roll over, fall off the couch, and not even change positions before falling back asleep a few minutes ago.
Diavolo is dog-coded. He's the sort of dog that's greeting everyone in the park with his tail wagging so hard his whole body is swaying. Literally dragging his owner behind him if he has to. Unstoppable Love Machine.
Barbatos is cat-coded. The sort of cat who was socialized later in life and really isn't into this whole 'being a pet' nonsense, but who you know likes you well enough because he'll always be sitting as far away as you as he can possibly be while still on the same piece of furniture.
Mephisto is dog-coded. He's a working dog of some sort... personally I think a well-bred pointer. The sort of dog that if you try and have as a house pet he will just start making up his own rules to follow because he doesn't know what the fuck to do with this person that's just sitting on the couch. Will periodically find him Pointing intently at a frog on the window or something.
Raphael is cat-coded. Regularly scares the shit out of you because he's never made a single noise in his whole life and will just Appear. By and large, extremely independent, needs a lot of things to do or he gets stressed. Likes to climb a lot. Surprisingly cuddly, though. When he does rest, he prefers to do it sprawled out on your lap.
Simeon is dog-coded. He's the sweetest dog to ever live, just gently laying his head on your leg to politely ask for pets. He was in line to be a service dog, but while training, someone threatened His Person and he fucked them up majorly, so he ended up being fostered instead and was adopted into the first house he stayed in. Will lick away your tears when your sad and turn any burglars into corpses for you.
Luke is dog-coded, the jokes are right. I don't think he's a chihuahua so much as he's just a puppy, though. He's a lil baby border collie that is overflowing with energy and getting used to everything ever. Loves cuddles, loves playing, loves you! Deeply Suspicious of new things before getting used to them, though. Top contender for being terrified of vacuum cleaners.
Solomon is cat-coded. The sort of cat that's always jumping onto cluttered surfaces and kicking off every single object onto the floor, then just plopping down and looking at the mess he made. The king of crashing headlong into the ground after fucking up a leap and just laying there cleaning himself like he meant to do it. The sort of cat that hides under furniture only to dart out and attack your ankles, then run away.
Thirteen is cat-coded. Many cats bond with One Person. She was feral and decided she liked MC. Proceeded to move in and would not be dissuaded. She's a spazz that loves to play and cuddle. Extremely affectionate as well! Unless you're not MC. Worse, if you're getting close to MC. ALSO the sort to hide under furniture and dart out, but it's with genuine bloodlust. Get Out Of Her House, Stop Touching Her Human.
