You’re actually only the second person to ask, I think. It’s a Japanese emperor butterfly caterpillar,Sasakia charonda. I posted some of them here. The caterpillars are intolerably adorable although I cannot legally share some of the best photos that are out there so I highly recommend googling!

I was spinnin' around and asked an acquaintance if that's an autism thing or an ADHD thing and he said "It's an autism thing. There's actually research suggesting that, somehow, spinning around induces in autistic people a similar seratonin response as getting a hug from a loved one" and I don't know how true that is but now I have a new headcanon that L unconciously spins around (such as in the second opening) for the same reason. 😌
