Inktober Prompt Binoculars.

I’m guessing my original pencil drawing is probably 20 years old - here it is in fresh ink. Been a long time since I’ve done anything HP related. Sorry it’s showing up in your feed. I’m not finding these Inktober prompts very inspiring. I’ve got an idea for Snacks and Remote - see you again then.

I just re-watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and remembered that I used to think the fact that the binoculars they use during the world cup were so cool because you could record, and replay in slow motion, but that’s basically a camera isn’t it XD?

Ever since I first read about them, I’ve wished that the omnioculars in Harry Potter were real. I’ve come to the recent realization that with headsets and Google Glass, we’re getting closer to the format, if not the actual capability.

“Wow, look at these!” said Harry, hurrying over to a cart piled high with what looked like brass binoculars, except that they were covered with all sorts of weird knobs and dials. 

“Omnioculars,” said the saleswizard eagerly. “You can replay action . . . slow everything down . . . and they flash up a play-by-play breakdown if you need it. Bargain — ten Galleons each.”
