Twilight AU where they’re all stand-up comedian friends. Bella has an Audrey Plaza-type deadpan style, Edward pretends to be a hacky comedian doing a bad Bella Lugosi impression, and Jacob does stream-of-consciousness ramblings from his dog’s point of view.
I’m tempted to talk about my problems with the new Gwenpool series, but I’m also scared to. The author term-searches Gwenpool on Tumblr/Twitter/etc for research and I’m scared of accidentally being rude.
I already did try to voice my concerns in a polite manner about three months ago, but the author brushed them off in a mildly condescending way.

DuckTales Spoilers
Wild conspiracy theory that, unlike Goofy being Della’s husband, I am NOT making as a joke.
Hypothesis: Mickey Mouse will possibly make an appearance on DuckTales after all, like in the third season finale or something.
Evidence:
A. Frank Angones said there were more guest characters that had yet to be announced.
B. In today’s episode, Owlson mentioned graduating from Mouseton, Mickey’s hometown.
There is no C, that’s all I’ve got. Pretty pathetic conspiracy wall, unless you count the brief background shot of a film award or reel in McDuck Studios (season 2, The Duck Knight Returns) that looks like a silhouette of Mickey’s head. Still, I think that’s just an in-joke.
Thoughts?
My official prediction for the dumb DuckTales moment: We’re going to get a Bubba Duck-ized version of the DuckTales theme song a la the cave version of Gitchee Gitchee Goo in Phineas And Ferb.
Ever since I first read about them, I’ve wished that the omnioculars in Harry Potter were real. I’ve come to the recent realization that with headsets and Google Glass, we’re getting closer to the format, if not the actual capability.

Louie: -very bored- So, when’s he going to get here?
-Sound effects engineers go nuts and add increasingly stupid and nonsensical noises, ending with a glorious Goofy holler-
Donald smiles, Scrooge groans, and Duckworth immediately begins scribbling on a notepad.

I feel like making a PowerPoint presentation to explain how faceblindness works by comparing it to the running joke in Phineas And Ferb where Doctor Doofenshmirtz can't recognize Perry the Platypus without his trademark fedora. I thought of the idea last night while I was watching Milo Murphy's Law, a show in the same 'universe', and it still sounds good.

Controversial opinion: R.L. Stine's short stories are better than his full-length books, at least in terms of Goosebumps and similar materials intended for that age range. They have less hokey friend-playing-a-prank-type fake-outs. The shorter span leaves no room for filler and misdirection, only for pure horror. Also, Goosebumps Horrorland might be the best thing he's ever made. An entire series that leads up to a massive crossover event, all in Horrorland, with the protagonists/antagonists respectively teaming up with each other.
After seventy-plus years, Archie Comics, Inc. finally has on-page Jewish representation! Granted, it's not with an actual living person, but I'll take what I can get.
This is your reminder that @ArchieComics has never had a Jewish character in any of their comics. It’s been seventy-eight years. I still love the stories and characters, but as a Jewish reader, the overwhelming religious homogeneity disappoints me.

Reposted from a Facebook group that I'm in, a character that I want to play if I can ever be in a RPG game with my friends: A sentient bowl of never-ending noodles. It can unlock doors because the noodles are too greasy. Weaknesses including needing to be carried because it's a slow-moving bowl, not being the tastiest, and the excess of butter leading to slipperiness. Its name is Penny, like the penne pasta, but I like to imagine the noodles as spaghetti.
I'm listening to an audio drama podcast as I prepare to go to sleep and it suddenly gave me an idea for a story idea. A therapy group temporarily gives superpowers and/or supernatural abilities to help them confront fears. Think combining exposure therapy with magic! I thought of it because the character in the podcast I'm listening to is doing a question and answer session, and someone asked what superpowers she would want. She said flying for the last one, because "who wouldn't want to fly?" I, personally, probably wouldn't want the ability to fly because I'm scared of heights, but then I realized that if I could fly, I could get gradually get rid of that fear. EDIT: Or, to use an actual podcast as an example, it would be a reverse Bright Sessions.
