"If they catch you, you're on your own," she says. "Got better things to do than play monster hunter."
Actually, playing monster hunter right would be way better than this dumb BS. But as time goes on, Uzi can feel the pull towards her other self getting strong, and she wonders how long until it becomes too much to bear. Obviously, a confrontation is what the Stars are looking for, and knowing herself, it's gonna be bloody. Or oily. Or both.
Hearing praise for her doppelganger makes Uzi grumble under her air cycle, because the compliments and praise should be coming to her. Why does no one care about all the stuff she's done? Also, why does she have all those freaky-ass powers?
"Wow, cool. Glad you get along so well or whatever. Glad she can have frickin' friends and god-powers and stuff," she says, trying really hard not to let the envy leak into her voice.
Seriously, what happened to make the other Uzi all... like that? How the fuck did she make friends and get a boyfriend and get everything she ever wanted and more? It's not fair.
"Not fair..." she grumbles. "I deserve that. Not her."
Her head whips up towards Jersey, her teeth exposed in a pointed grin. "Oh yeah? She tell you about how she killed her classmates? Eating people, she tell you about that? Bet she didn't!"
But the smile melts away from her face as she realizes how petty she sounds. She's jealous of herself. This is so stupid.
Uzi's suddenly extremely aware of the railgun's weight on her back. She needs to end this so she can get rid of al these stupid and annoying feelings. Her hands curl into fists, trembling as she begins her grim march one more, storming past Jersey.
"I need to kill her," she says, just a little quietly. "I need to."
