CYPRUS...Aphrodite's Island.
We landed quite late in Larnaca, Cyprus-an uninspiring city and hurtled to an uninspiring hotel..after the big Cypriot sales pitch from the taxi driver who wanted to take us around the island for an outrageous price. As a compromise we hired a car ..and for the first time ever , I drove in Europe.!!!!Well it is on the same side of the road, but Google Maps did lead me down some strange narrow…
