There's this place in Russia called Omsk that became a meme first on some Russian site and then in the polandball fandom for apparently containing absurd amounts of drug trafficking. Being represented with this red bird character and portrayed as an abseloute hellscape. Sanguinius has wings. Corvus Corax is a bird. Konrad Curzes feather cape is often described as wings. Konrad Curze has an Eastern European accent.
On a completly unrelated note I have a Konrad Curze demon primarch inspiration suggestion....
