ON "FINDING YOURSELF"

people like to act as if

your "self" is a lost jewel 

that could be uncovered by 

finding and following some type

of treasure map of experience

rather than realizing that 

this "discovery" of "self"

is less of an unveiling 

and more of a polishing

of a crystal or cutting of a diamond

realize, a diamond does not begin

in the shape of a superman s 

it first was a stone

and coal b4 that.
