“DON’T make that face at me,” he snapped. It certainly wasn’t the first time she’d seen him naked nor would it be the last. He waved a hand nebulously, it wasn’t that he didn’t know how to explain this situation, (it was just, well, that was exactly it). “Someone hit me with a biological disintegration ray but I managed to have it hit my clothes instead of me, happy?”

Missy remained silent for a few seconds before she burst into laughter, holding her sides and moving to steady herself against the nearest thing she could find.

“Oh, dear! This is really a sight to see! I wish I could have seen that happen and especially the part when you get all shy and flustered!” She managed to say as she slowly calmed down but kept cackling. She cleared her throat as she got back up.

“And I’ve seen you naked before but never in this ‘new’ body of yours. I must admit, this is beautiful, Doctor!” she moved to the Doctor and nudged him.

HE SIGHED. This again? He supposed at some points she was right, saving everybody was pointless when he had countless monsters in the closet. He looked over to her and asked, “What’s the point of burning everything you touch? What’s the point of killing them all before you learn their stories?”

What he wasn’t saying was he was doubting the point of it all himself. It was all so HARD to just keep going. Was he a good man anymore? Was he the one who had taken that oath so long ago?

“Because it’s FUN! Because they make those funny faces when they realize their entire boring existence comes to a similarly anti-climactic end!” she laughed as she twirled in place, “where’s the fun in learning their stories if they all end the same way? They died. The end. At least this way, they died making me laugh. They’re insects. Pretty sparkly insects, but still very much insects.”

Missy stopped then and booped his nose.

“You used to know that once, but now... well now you’ve gone all native on me. Started treating them like they’re real people.”

The Doctor jerked up and off the console as if burnt. He had been nodding off against it. “I’m-I’m fine, Clara, really,” he lied absolutely horribly. It was that damn nightmare he couldn’t shake. Sure, he didn’t need as much sleep as humans but he still required some.

             Clara leaned against the banister, raising an eyebrow at him. “Well you don´t LOOK fine. And I don´t want to accidentally be launched SOMEWHERE into space because you´re pressing the wrong buttons.”

There was something about the man that Amelia just couldn’t put her finger on. She knew she didn’t know him, but he also kind of seemed familiar to her. It wasn’t every day that that happened, so obviously, the Time Lady had to go up to him. Maybe she would know him in her future? That could very well explain her feeling, but she doubted that was the answer now. If that was the case, would she even get a feeling from just noticing his face?

The blonde gave her head a quick little shake focusing her thoughts. There was one sure-fire way to figure out who he was, and that was going up to him and starting a conversation! And so, that was exactly what she’d done.

“Hey!” She shouted trying to get his attention. “I know this is very forward and a little bit random,” Considering she’d ‘randomly’ picked him out of the crowd of people around, it would seem. “But I wanted to introduce myself. You just seem so familiar, but I’ve the feeling we haven’t actually met yet, so why not start, ya? My names Amelia Harkness. Who are you?”

“Alright, I’m moving.”

Aurora huffed after receiving a hard shove on the back by one of the Sontarans as they were escorting her down the corridor of the ship. Taking her into one of their holding cells. To make sure she didn’t try anything, they took away her sonic screwdriver and place cuffs to secure her hands behind her back with their laser guns drew towards her back. As much as they wanted to kill her for trespassing on their ship, she would need to be kept alive for their target practices. 

As they were passing the prison cells, Aurora caught sight of a man in one of the cells. Raising her eyebrows upon him. She didn’t know him, but she had a strange feeling that there was something familiar with him.

It had been-- a very long time, since he had heard the screeching sound of the TARDIS. And it felt so out of place in between the obnoxious fluorescent holographic advertisements that played constantly on the dark hyper urban streets of Lorian Prime, drowning each other out in the permanent night. But nothing could drown out that familiar sound.

The days when he would have run towards it were long gone, but he didn't need to. As the TARDIS materialized in front of him, he felt her reach out in greeting, but he threw up a mental brick wall against it; built from solid bricks of betrayal and anger that had had endless years to solidify inside him.

But he didn't blame her for any of it. He never had. He blamed Him.

Still, Jack stood near frozen in place and waited- slightly unwillingly- to see which version would walk out and who he had picked to destroy this time.

Of course he was alive. Missy wouldn’t have let the Doctor be executed, he was her friend. She would never let anyone other than herself kill him. Even this, she wouldn’t do it. She had promised to watch over him for a thousand years. Now atleast he wouldn’t destroy everything in his path.

It had been only a year or less now. She had bought him many furnitures so hewouldn’t feel like a prisoner. What a joke. She knew he would feel like one anyway but at least, he would have something to do. She knew that everytime she had to bring him food, he would try anything to either kill her or get out but so far, she had been the more clever one.

Thankfully, she was patient. On that day more than the others. And she was ready to face anything he would have prepared for her, no matter how much it would hurt. She stood in front of the doors of the Vault and started to type in the codes. “Get in the containment field, please, Doctor. I brought you some things.”
