A muse, in the most basic sense, is a person who serves as an inspiration to an artist.
It is undeniable that Theo Raeken is good-looking. Hot. Attractive. Beautiful. And the artist in Y/N couldn't help it. She has him as her muse.
Only Theo doesn't know.
Y/N is an artist. But being in highschool right now made her so stressed out that she doesn't do art anymore. She was hoping that the senior year would be different. She wanted to get back to drawing. She forced herself to go and draw everyday. Even if it's not whole portrait. Even just studies. Of eyes, or nose or lips. Anything to keep her hand from losing the skill.
Then she saw this guy get off a car, turn around, waved and smiled at someone. God, the guy is beautiful. She couldn't help but be curious about him. He's just perfect. Perfect. And Y/N was glad that the guy is in one of her classes.
Theo. Theo Raeken is the guy's name. Y/N could literally hear the swooning when he introduced himself. Y/N could see some girls sneaking a photo of him with their phone cameras.
The class began and the teacher droned on. Then they were asked to rearrange their desks into groups of 4, making students face each other. Y/N is in the group next to Theo's. She was glad that Theo was facing her direction. She stared at him. His eyes are beautiful. His nose, his lips, his jaws, all of his face. Then his hair and body. She could tell underneath the shirt that there is a well-chiseled body hiding.
Y/N started drawing Theo. The basics first, his head shape, then lines for his eyes, nose, and lips. All the while trying not to get caught staring. Class ended and Y/N was saddened that she has to part from Theo. At lunchtime, she filled in all the details of her drawing of Theo. She was proud of the result. It's been a long time since she's really satisfied with her work. Theo really awakened her passion.
Y/N's sketchbook slowly filled with Theo's face drawn from her memory. And her admiration turned to pining for Theo. She wanted to talk to him, to be close to him, to love him, to have him love her. She wanted Theo.
The days passed and for some reason, Theo was absent. For a day. Then two. Then three. Then into weeks. Then months. No one knows what happened to him. He just disappeared. Y/N was left with nothing but her drawings of Theo.
Y/N was crestfallen. Her heart ached. Looking for Theo. Craving for Theo. Yearning.
