This post is not about Kamilah and MC. It has nothing in common with Bloodbound, so if you're interested in only this type of writing, I recommend you not waste your time and keep scrolling😅
Thanks to @lightning-fury, I translated the first chapter of my original book. Well, I changed it slightly and made it shorter. What I'm posting has 2100 words, and in Polish, it has 3400 words. Why? Because it was so damn hard thing to do haha
Author’s note: I wrote it when I was 16. How do I know? Because I have the habit of writing the main characters a year older than me. Amy, in my fic, has 22 years and, I will turn 21 in May, so nothing has changed haha😂
What freaked me out at first when I opened the file with this book is that... I've written it in the first person, so that made it more challenging to translate haha
There's no LGTB, just saying in advance if anyone cares about this.
There are more of my notes at the end of this post.
I'm sorry if it's not easy to read/ understand.

"You have a..."
The Whisper's voice trying to reach me, fighting through the noise of a waterfall.
Where am I? Why am I hearing this hum characteristic for the waterfall? How is it even possible, and how much control am I having over what's happening right now?
I'm trying to wake myself up. With no luck.
"You're not developing your's..."
I'm turning around, searching for the person that's talking to me. Someone who's desperately fighting for my attention. And the only opponents that he's meeting are my thoughts. My worst enemy.
Answer something, I'm scolding myself for no concentration.
Finally, I opened my mouth, trying to let out a word. A single sound.
And that's when something is tightening around my throat. I'm trying to reach my neck, release the pressure around it, but my hands are no use at the moment. I'm not able to move, make a sound, ask for help.
"It would fade away if you..."
Sound of Whisper's words slowly disappearing as everything around me goes blurry. My eyes are filling with tears because of the lack of air in my lungs. I've never felt so powerless.
So useless.
"I can see, you're not going to do anything about this..."
No! I do, please don't leave me! Don't let me fall, not again.
Together with my growing stubbornness, the grip is closing around my neck. It makes me choke, pray for air. Everything around me takes the shades of cold blue, slowly becoming darker. It's a matter of seconds when it'll all go pure black. I've been there before.
"You're disappointing me..."
How? Why? Who are you?!
I want to do something... I just... can't.
I'm slowly giving up, closing my eyes. Why should I let them stay open if everything around is already black?
Every time I close my eyes, I can still see colorful spots dancing before me. Memories that float in my mind are visualized. I can see the places that I've visit, people that I've met. Like I have never really closed my eyes.
Again...my thoughts...
How long I'm going without air? Is this even possible?
A loud scream echoing in my head.
That's when the grip loosens, and my body goes falling straight to the ground.
That's what I call pain.
***
Something is ringing.
My hand goes under the blanket, searching for the phone. Fingers know what exactly they should do to stop this irritating noise.
The moment in which the silence falls in the room, I'm lifting myself on elbows. With difficulty, I'm stopping the cough since my throat still hurts unbearably.
In my ears, the scream repeats itself, making my body tremble. I'm looking around to take the surroundings in, but everything is as regular as it should be.
I'm looking at the bed next to mine, where Nicole sleeps as calm as usual. The view makes me smile a little. I'm grateful that at least one of us didn't have nightmares.
I'm inhaling deeply, brushing my messed up hair with fingers. What is wrong with me... I'm rubbing my face. Finally, I get up, trying to avoid scary thoughts.
It's a Saturday morning, I need to go to our neighbor to walk her dog. That's my usual, morning routine which helps me survive every day. And at the same time, that's my secret since kids can't leave this place without permission.
I'm taking clothes that I've prepared the previous day, and I'm making my way to the bathroom.
I'm listening to the quiet tones of my steps while walking through a long corridor. Like every morning, so now, the walls are threatening me by getting closer with each step. It makes me hesitate a little before I'm finding my courage to continue walking.
I'm under the gaze of people from paintings hanging on the walls. Every day they're asking me questions about where I am going. They're acting like they're mad at themself that they can't go out of the canvas and stop me from breaking the rules.
Long before I'm near the doors, my hand is searching for the door handle. It's lower than usual, so the younger girls could reach for it without asking for help.
Still keeping my hand on the door handle, I'm turning around to look one more time if there would be someone to stop me. To protest, make me turn back to my room. But there is absolutely no one there despite the sweet silence.
Finally, I'm disappearing into the bathroom.
Where I'm left with my own reflection.
Every day I'm meeting the same, unsure and scared glance, which makes me look away.
I'm looking around the inside of the bathroom as if I've never been here before. Then, on my tiptoes, I'm going to the next room with shower cabins. I'm searching for one living soul, but there's no one inside. To my luck.
I'm alone with myself.
I'm coming closer to the mirror and pulling my hair to the side to have a clear view of the neck. I can notice a little bruise where the grip was the strongest. But it's not too big, so I can simply cover it up with makeup later.
I tie my hair up in a loose bun, and after that, I can go take a shower.
My body shivers uncontrollably when the cold water flows out of the shower. After a second, I'm getting used to the temperature and start cleaning my skin, trying to wash away my fear and memories of the last night. It's becoming impossible when I find another sign of it on my shoulder. Even trying to look at it without a mirror, I can see a massive bruise.
I'm turning the water off and putting a towel around my body. I walk out of the shower to look at the wound in my reflection.
This is not going to be easy to cover up.
The only thing I can do in this situation is to cover it up with clothing. So I'm dressing up, and before walking out of the bathroom, I let my hair fall loose on my back. It's middle-length, dark brown, mostly straight, but the nearer the end, the wavier it gets.
I looked one last time at my tired reflection and went out, heading to the stairs.
As usual, Emily left a slightly open window for me in the kitchen so I could quickly go out. Using the front door was impossible if I didn't want to cause any problems.
Emily was responsible for taking care of us. She was six years older than me, and we knew each other for... I don't remember for how long actually. Either way, we've been on good terms, and she kept my little secret.
My feet reached the ground outside of the building. I took a few steps away from it to have a clear view of the place that I have been living in for over 10 years. And still, I couldn't call it home. This place is like a hotel in which someone's keeping me a lot longer than I wanted to stay.
My arrival at this place is a mystery to everyone. Even if no one actually knows what exactly has happened. Ms. Morad, who is the woman that owns this place, and found me, told me my short story. That I was seven years old and just appeared at the doors, alone. The only thing that I've had with me was a short note on a crumpled piece of paper.
"Her name is Kathleen, take good care of her."
I don't remember that moment. The same as I don't retain memories of anything before I was seven. Doctors called it a side effect after trauma.
Maybe... I don't know.
I've never felt grief after what happened. I've never been angry at my parents, whoever they are and whatever reason they've had for leaving me here. It's weird since most of the kids here were relieving their sadness each day. I just have this feeling that they did what they had to, and... it's stupid, but I think like they didn't have a choice. Like they were protecting me.
I shook my head to throw those thoughts away, and I made my way to the first fence that I had to climb on.
When my feet hit the ground on the other side, I reminded myself about another little detail.
Each morning I'm being watched.
He appeared in the building for boys about 2 years ago.
And since then, every morning, he watches me as I go through the garden.
I don't know who he is, why he is watching me, for what reason he is in this place...
And what's the most important, why didn't he tell my secret to anyone? He has no reason to be kind to me. We don't know each other.
Actually, we can't.
That's how this place goes. Girls and boys are separated from each other. We are not allowed to talk or spend time together. There was a time when I was wondering for what reasons it is like that. But I gave up those thoughts, believing in the system.
Like every other day, I'm fighting the urge to look at the window. Even without doing so, I can tell how exactly he looks like. How his hair is arranged. How he is piercing through my head with his dark eyes.
And like every other time, I win this urge and go straight toward the forest where a path will lead me to the neighbor's house.
***
I'm lost in thoughts, again.
The smell of the forest, it makes me forget about my problems every time, just for a moment.
I can see how excited Bueno, the dog of our neighbor, is for a walk. After a few steps farther into the forest, I'm getting him off the leash. I have great trust when it goes to this dog. He always comes when I call for him.
So this walk is suitable for both of us.
He is happy by the mere fact of being outside. And I can think without remorse.
My thoughts are uncontrollably drifting to the dream. I've been having those strange nightmares for a month now. I've never even remembered my dreams before, not talking about some crazy injuries.
It started calmly at first. I was remembering my dreams, but not analyzing them since they were just... dreams. Then, they started referring to my past, what I did a week earlier, or places I've been before.
In the next phase, I saw some repeatability in those dreams.
In every single one, Whisper was with me. I called him that because he was always whispering into my ear, or like he was inside my head. Never showing himself directly. No matter how much I asked, he never answered my questions too.
At first, I was scared of him. But after some time, I figured out that he meant no harm to me. It was more like he was trying to communicate with me. Trigger my mind to remember about something that, apparently, I forgot.
Each one of those sessions, when he was talking to me, ended up tragically. I was constantly waking up with new bruises, which were scaring me even more. But I couldn't tell anyone about this.
I can't trust anyone. Not even myself.
Suddenly, the wind picked up, and I feel a drizzle on my skin. I'm looking around, searching for the dog. But he's nowhere to find.
"Bueno," I'm calling him, expecting that he'll show himself any minute.
But I can't see him. That makes me call him again, adding a short whistle.
That's not normal.
This dog loves attention, and the fact that he is not beside me so far is unlike him.
"Bueno!" the third call, my voice is showing my raising fear.
Finally, the dog appears. His tail wags like he did nothing wrong.
"Don't do this, ever again," my voice sounds sharper than I wanted, so I pet him to not scare him off.
To be sure that he won't run away, I'm putting him on the leash before making our way back to his house.
***
I'm back at my place. I've just walked through the window to the kitchen. I'm heading to go upstairs when I run into Emily.
"Oh, sorry," the situation makes me smile from embarrassment, "thank you for leaving the window open."
"It's no problem," Emily must have seen that I wanted to disappear, so she stopped me with her next words, "I wanted to tell you something."
Anxiety curled immediately under my skin when I heard her serious voice.
"Is something wrong?" I can tell when she is nervous.
"Ms. Morad rang," Emily's voice got more upset,
"Kathy
You're being moved."

Author’s note: That turned out pretty dark, haha, Believe me, it's still better after cutting off some parts. I won't translate the rest of the story for sure. And since I started writing it at the age of 16-18 and never ended it, so I don't see the reason to do this now. It doesn't matter in which language.
This tiny part will not explain the whole plot for sure and is more like a fun fact that I wrote something like this.
Kathleen... this name is not common in Poland for sure, haha, and the reason why I choose it is weird and crazy. I just remember hearing this name in my early childhood. I don't know where but it was in my head.
Kathleen's character here is weak, and she's at the beginning of her journey. She is actually my best-written character so far, and I'm proud of how I wrote her transformation throughout the story to a strong and independent young woman.
The Whisper, another character I'm proud of. He is not showing himself directly until part II of the book. And until then, his name is unknown. That's probably the most mysterious character that I've ever written. And he is as important to the plot as Kathleen. Oh, and translated from Polish, I originally called him "the Voice" but that sounds dumb in English haha
The world I've written about is post-apocalyptic, and the place that I've shown you in this chapter is an illusion created to mess up with children's heads. To get them ready for a new life under the influence of those who are greedy for power (typical). The world is after wars and an epidemic that generated a new creature. But it would be so hard to describe this creature in a few words. Mostly it's the rest of the human who got sick. They're not a zombie haha
Dreams. They're the side effect of the virus that caused the epidemic. It's more about how Kathleen's brain changed, but at the same time, she didn't turn into one of those creatures. And it's not just about dreams, but they're the first phase.
I hope that makes any sense to you, I won't explain the whole plot. Mostly, because I don't remember it that well and I don't want to get lost in this now haha I hope that didn’t scare you off because this plot is crazy.
About the next chapter of "Let me earn your trust", I’ll post it on Wednesday/ Thursday.
HI just a general disclaimer i am extremely extremely active on my twitters right now and doing everything i can to donate and support and protest and the only thing im talking about there is whats happening in the real world
im getting really badly overwhelmed but im not going to stop talking about it on twitter and i also feel wrong talking about anything else right now!!! tweeting doesnt feel right, i dont have the words for atla right now; i have them and my anger and heart for the real world. but i dont mind rb'ing/rt'ing still the stuff i love because it makes me feel safe admist all this, but, i just simply dont want to on twitter. tumblr feels alright.
i decided im going to use tumblr as a stan account still for atla while twitter i will use my larger platform still for the world. so just a disclaimer PLEASE do not take my silence as me not caring
tldr: youll see me rb lots of atla stuff but do not take my silence on tumblr for silence in the real world this is the only place i am using to rt/rb anything not concerning the real world
this is a tyrell negative blog. i don’t talk about it much, bc i don’t mind some individuals within the house, but on the whole, it’s just really not my thing, and i try to just...not pay attention to shit that i don’t like.
however, i feel the need, at this time, to say this clearly and concisely:
i hope my sad trash pirates burn the fuck out of highgarden in the next book. i hope and pray and will prepare my popcorn accordingly.
I am making one post on this whole situation because it is almost the only thing I have been seeing on my dash lately. This whole situation is one giant mess and I have been staying out of it and will continue to do so because I think it only spreads more hate and negativity than anything and the last thing we need is more of it. Honestly, what happened, happened. None of us can go back in time and change it. No, not even Taylor herself she is human after all guys. And I think people are losing their "chill" for the wrong reasons. Now, don't get me wrong, I DO NOT condone bullying in any way. However, I feel like the line between fact and fiction in this situation is just so blurred. And yes, I have seen the "comments" and all the posts with evidence and such and if this is all true, then he knows what he has to do. And if it isn't true, well then it isn't. However, I feel like there is way too much of, "he said, she said" going on that is just twists things even more out of context and such. I feel like this just keeps tearing this fan base apart and it is sad to see, which is why I am trying to bring some light back into the fan base. I think we all need to focus more on what we all do best. And that is love and support Taylor with everything we have. We all have different opinions. And sometimes our opinions may differ from Taylor's. And that's ok guys. We are all human and we are all never going to agree on the same things all the time. But we are letting this drag everyone so far down this hole, we are never going to be able to come back up. This is the one and only post I am making on the matter and it's really more of a rant than anything to just type my feelings out. But I think if we put half as much energy into spreading more positivity than negativity, this site would be a much brighter place. Smile, laugh, be happy my friends.
It's a little past 12 am, I am looking for some things.
I saw a picture of you and me smiling like there was magic in between
How can someone smile so deep
while pretending it's for real
Baby it isn't
'coz if it was you'd be here
You've moved on
And I've moved on
We've moved on
But it hurts a little
'Coz you said no thing
You just left me lost with words
They say I'm a fool
No I just fell in love, that's all
I want to completely be over you
Tell me so I can let go
Why did you have to leave me
When you made it look so true?
Oh Tell me so I can let this go
*So this is something I made out of the blue. I hope I can come up with chords for this soon. haha. It's 12:51 and I thought my feelings were gone ang peg. haha. But yeah, they're gone. I'm just wondering. Char. Tumblr no tumbling. haha. kbye.*
