𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒖𝒂𝒍 𝒃𝒆𝒅,  𝒔𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒅 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈.   One doesn’t think of a bed as anything but give in but when all basics of life are stripped away it is easy to be grateful for the little things that she took for granted.   The smell of bacon and the simmer of what she believes is the eggs has her bolting upright and of course,  she wastes no time running downstairs to find her aunt in the kitchen.   𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.    All of it lost on her lips as she stands there,  hair still frizzy and wild and a wide smile on her lips.    𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘤𝘳𝘺, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘪𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘺.      ❝Smells good.❞    and she’s actually hungry for anything that her aunt has to offer.   Life is crappy with an ex hating her for murder   (his right but Hope guesses there is more to Landon’s reaction than just the fact she snapped his neck like it was nothing.)    Last night,  Freya bought her dinner and it was clear that things have changed.  For once,  Hope knows what Hayley went through growing up clawing her way just to survive.  ❝Thanks, for coming....you know all this way for me.❞   It’s what family does.

Hope finds her way to New Orleans with magically help. The woods where she grew up was where she landed, already able to do things most don’t know how to do and sure, her aunt might have her ass for it since it takes a lot out of her but at this point, she doesn’t care. She wants to die at home, in her nice tub and then go back to Mystic falls to end this once and for all. She wants to get a glimpse of her aunt that taught her everything one more time, almost like a whisper into the night of a goodbye to her life even. Hope finds her way to her old stomping ground with ease, the pictures on the wall of her is a stab to her chest. She can hear Declan talking with someone, sounds like a meeting in the kitchen area as she finds herself lost in looking at the photos of her, happy with her mama and aunt. Oh god, she remembers those days before everything changed. She smells her aunt in the bar before she even sees her. Oh god, her stomach hurts and her aunt’s voice silky smooth and warm while talking to who she assumes is Vincent about the witches, those two have always made a good team and Hope’s plan to just slip into the compound and die seems like the best time to do it while her aunt is busy with whatever it is she is doing. Maybe it is a meeting with Declan? Maybe she is wanting to let go and enjoy her freedom? Hope is pulling the one picture of her from the wall of both Freya and herself, so happy around Christmas time when she was seventeen. Oh, that had been a good year, the hot chocolate warming her and gifts exchanged with paintings given to the family from her. It’s turning around with the picture and meeting her aunt which means she is so fucking screwed. ❝Mother...shit. Really? What is she a bloodhound now? Smell family from a mile away?❞ She is speaking to herself as she lays the picture down on the table that is directly in front of her, only a few steps away. ❝Freya....before you start yelling for some unknown reason can I just say how good it is to see you?❞ Kissing up to someone who doesn’t know you, real smooth Hope. // @onefinaltruthremains

         He blinks. There’s a layer of fog over everything, dark blobs forming shapes. He blinks again. The shapes take the form of a person, and it takes one more blink for that person to become Freya. He looks at his sister, a heavy frown on his face, before looking down at his hands. Something is strange; but he couldn’t say WHAT.

          “Freya.” He tried to recall what had happened, why he would be feeling this way - but his memories are also covered in a thick layer of fog. Hm. Concerning. “What is happening?”

         “I never thought I’d ever meet you.” Frida can’t help but look at Freya with large eyes. “My father told me about you - once. He said that he picked my name to honour you.” She had only been small when he told her, but it was something she carried with her over the years. She had no idea who Freya Mikaelson was or what she was like but now MEETING HER - Frida was nearly speechless.

   Concern crosses his features as he looks at the ‘just a bruise’ that spread across her face. If it was just a bruise, then he was just a vampire. While the bruise itself would be nothing that a little Vampire blood could not heal, the cause of it was the mystery Elijah wanted solving.

Tristan & Freya

Name: Saga Blanchefleur Mikaelson de Martel (She has always felt grateful for having an easy, two-syllables first name to use during her more casual introductions)

Gender: Female

General Appearance: Blue eyes that can sometimes sparkle with a touch of green under the right light. Brown hair refusing to favor either of her parents and svelte complexion. She is usually all about different kinds of preppy styles that never fail to include some witchy-alluding detail or accessory.

Personality: A work in contrasts. Saga is sweet, funny, mellow and highly enthusiastic but more often than not presents herself as distant, aloof and entitled (Which isn’t a lie either. The de Martel entitlement doesn’t fully skip any generation)She has an incredibly rich inner world. She is astonishingly creative, imaginative and curious. She also has a thousand and one locks preventing most people from getting to know her that well. Having been born thanks to her mother’s magic in the middle of two families in never-ending feud wasn’t ideal for learning how to easily trust people.If you somehow actually get her to open up and share one or two secrets: Do NOT under any circumstance betray her confidence. Freya and Tristan aren’t by any means pushovers when it comes to traitors but Saga will put grandpa Mikael to shame as far as over-exaggerated, merciless revenge is concerned.   

Special Talents: Magical proficiency, variety and knowledge: For years she learned quite a lot from Freya before diversifying into her own style, consuming the books Tristan got for her as if they were mints. Basically, if it was a new and previously unexplored kind of magic she knew nothing about, her interest was immediately peaked. As a result, Saga has less of an specialization and area of expertise but also enjoys an enormously wide array of spells at her disposition. She won’t place a barrier so you don’t leave the room. She will use this very obscure, Peruvian spell to make you see the room as an endless jungle. You are worried she will reduce you to your knees in pain? Don’t be silly. She will just place you inside a mirror for a while.She is also a walking, talking encyclopedia of witchcraft trivia. You need to know about this elusive, Italian coven that only existed for two years during the 16th century? She is your girl. Ironically she doesn’t like the Sisters. At all. She never got over how scary they seemed when she was a kid and she doesn’t understand why her father doesn’t prohibit them to go for the black robe look in this day and age. Language proficiency: Because of her studies with grimoires and texts from all kinds of different cultures, Saga accumulated fluency with an impressive quantity of both living and death tongues. It isn’t rare to hear her incorporating their expressions into her speech (Some people decide she is as arrogant as her father after the first, innocent c'est magnifique)  and she is capable of maintaining full conversations in old norse with her mother. A talent Tristan glares at for their amusement every-time it is used to teasingly exchange a secret comment while he is in the room.Harp proficiency: Saga can play the harp like the best of them. That is basically it.

Who they like better: Saga would be harshly judging this point. She didn’t inherit Tristan’s preference for always picking favorites. She likes her parents. Period.

Who they take after more: This one is hard. There are a lot of resemblances but she manifests them in very different ways. Maybe…53% Freya 47% Tristan

Personal Head canon: Her blood doesn’t make sense. Tristan’s blood was an ingredient of the spell making the pregnancy possible and she hasn’t been sick a single day of her life so at first you might assume she is just a witch carrying vampire blood inside. Except that she doesn’t heal faster from injuries at all. Oh but her blood does heal others extremely quickly. No one can make head or tail as to why she works like she works and so no one knows if her body would try to turn her into a vampire if anything happened to her.
