Lemme explain you a thing.

I may ship both Destiel and Sterek, but in this case I can only speak for the Sterek shippers. Helping Destiel to win online polls like this doesn't matter to me, because it doesn't matter to the show either. This is one of the reasons why I want Sterek to win, because the creators of the show are actually interested in what we manage to achieve and like to comment on it.

Second reason is because it would boost the fandom's morale. This madness is what expanded the Sterek and Teen Wolf fandom last year, and how many of us came to discover it, so in my opinion it's a pretty big thing. All the reason to get hung up on.

But I'm actually just really happy we made it to the final round, against Destiel, once again. There's no doubt these two fandoms/ships are the ones with the most dedicated fans, and I'm really happy Sterek can be compared to such a big ship as Destiel. And like I said before, I ship both, but I'd pick Sterek as a winner any day.
