White Shark once ruled our oceans in temperate waters maintaining the health and balance of our oceans! Today over 90% of all large sharks have been killed just for their fins...for a bowl of soup! The shark fin trade has ruthlessly slaughtered all sharks for way to long! Our oceans are failing for this as well as many other reasons such as #globalwarming and #onetimeuseplastics just to name a few. We must correct our actions, as this is our only home, Earth! What we do in the next 10 years will determine the next 10,000! Let's eliminate the United States involvement in the shark fin trade by supporting Oceana's US Shark Fin Trade act! Beautiful juvenile loggerhead turtle off Palm Beach, Florida! All turtle species numbers have been decimated worldwide from what they were just 50 years ago! Never buy animal products of anykind, ever! All marine turtle species are in very serious trouble. Let's all work really hard to fix our oceans issues while we still can. Roughly 15 years ago I rescued a tiger shark that had a plastic packing strap cutting into her body all the way around her! This past week i believe i found her again! I'm so very happy to see that she survived such a horrific, brutal and devastating injury because of my species! I'm delighted to have found her again! We must completely end the use of one time plastics! Open mouth lemon shark at night is a very difficult and somewhat dangerous shot, however when your as obsessed with sharks like i am, every shot that helps build your conservation followers platform is well worth it!
