A wall full of mirrors, you’d think they’d planned this. One man at your back, Keonhee had both your wrists held by a single hand and his lips attached to your neck. Hwanwoong sat up front, his head tilted as he stared into your eyes. Lids falling heavy from being held open, the latter preferred eye contact over much else.
“I honestly didn’t know they had more in stock.” Keonhee’s voice traveled over you to Hwanwoong, the man in the front laughing and finally removing his gaping glare from your face to the other man’s.
With Keonhee now back on his knees, legs folded beneath him, he could savor you in the reflection of the mirrors on the wall. So many feet of the reflective glass, all for him to see your naked form pressed against the soft rug with your boyfriend's hands running across your skin. All while you could only whine and not reach for either of them.
“The fuzzy ones are the hardest to find in good quality.” They talked as if you weren’t a mess before them, a single round riling your body up enough to have liquids rushing down your thighs and onto the soft rug. “The feathers always fall off, that’s why we keep having to buy more.”
Keonhee’s cold hands met the middle of your back, a light force used to have you falling forward. The smallest moan from your throat, and Hwanwoong’s palm met the back of your head to soothe your sounds. “Don’t be like that. You know the room is soundproof for a reason.”
Hwanwoong had worked on the walls for a week, all around the wall meant for the mirrors. Watching the reflective glass go up sparked an idea in him, the thick boards now hung on the wall to mesh any sounds that bounced from them back into your own ears. The duo loved your sounds more than your own or one another's, wanting to keep them to themselves and not let your neighbors in on what you did every night when the sun went down and the stars lit up the sky.
Keonhee’s fingers at your wrists moved for a split second, your arms keeping their cadence backwards to not move a single inch. A pleased hiss from Keonhee’s lips helped you relax, his hands capturning your twisted wrists to place the soft, feathered cuffs onto them. “No marks left either. What smart little inventions horny people come up with.”
“Markings are better.” Hwanwoong had a thirst for seeing his own marks on your skin, but even more seeing you layer up his own to stare at in the mirror later. The man was a forcefield, his ideas needing to be his own or he’d be vexed. Which is why you never touched the man without his permission, even when you were laying with your face between his separated thighs as his hand roamed down towards his abs. “Shouldn’t we be doing more?”
Keonhee’s eyes caught Hwanwoong’s like a telescope meeting a constellation, their pupils dilating in tandem. With a soft sigh of approval from you at the feeling of his cold fingertips meeting your back a second time, Keonhee’s fingers spun circles before tugging you backwards against his front with his hands at your forearms.
“Yes, come on. Play nice—” Keonhee’s voice was always soothing, tempting and swindling you into doing as he asked without single bit of attitude from you.
Hwanwoong’s knees pressed into the carpet, his hardened length in his boxers now being toyed by his right hand as his left fell down between your thighs. Poking, prodding, Keonhee’s cock at your entrance and a slow push inside. Your walls contracted around him, already sensitive from the first orgasm they worked out of you minutes before. The stimulation of your walls, their clench and hold on Keonhee’s long length as it sat within you to allow you to adjust—Hwanwoong’s skilled fingers pleasing you, but nothing like his tongue would be at this crazed state.
“Fuck, ah-!” Hwanwoong’s fingers twisted against you with his words, palm overtaking your sensitive bits and turning them numb from his soft touch shifting to rough. Squelches came from your post orgasm falling into his palm and lubricating his skin, a lap from his tongue at the liquids orgasmic in itself.
Both men wanted to hear you moan their name, your mouth shut tight and teeth biting down on your tongue to keep the loud groan from ripping through you. A much needed sound, the pull of Keonhee’s hips from you before bucking back inside, and Hwanwoong’s barely-touched orgasm seeping through the thin bottoms around his waist.
You were euphoric, the rush of your own finish overlapping all of your senses at once. Keonhee took the time to roll you back forward, press your head back down onto Hwanwoong’s thighs for support. Your back arched, knees separated to give his cock the space to go even deeper, and a deep breath in wreaked havoc on your body. Shaking from your orgasm, eyes shut tight, Keonhee’s glance into the mirror at his side was enough to make him stiffen and release himself into you. Hwanwoong’s lingering eyes could only watch, his orgasm already had and now the sweet space of seeing the two he cares most for in the world was reaching him like it did often.
Hwanwoong was first to lift you up, tight waist pressing into the side of your face to use the key on the handcuffs. They were removed in a blink of your tired eyes, Keonhee’s strength left from his pleased form being enough to lift you upwards and put you onto the soft, shared mattress.
The neon green numbers of the digital clock ticked to exactly midnight, the two men’s eyes capturing sight of your worn down body as they ran cloths over you and one another. Bright irises, enveloped lips between their own teeth, and their laughter fully sprung out.
“New record. Two orgasms in ten minutes, and one for each other.” The competition between testosterone was still strong between the boyfriends. “Let’s try for three tomorrow!”

A website, or a virus — you couldn’t decide. The screen was filled with clickable shapes and distracting ads, your mind so focused on the one task at hand. Find a lover, or just experience something greater.
The title ‘choose your own’ caught your attention so fast that you clicked without reading the warning label, another page overtaking the previous one. Names began to cascade over the screen, faces of handsome men within the tiles. You were overwhelmed, the number of incubuses all about drawing your mind blank as you scrolled down the page.
One by one, they all looked wicked. Your eyes glistened in the dark room with nothing but the light of the computer before you to keep you attentive. Your finger clicked the screen to the last page, only one man listed.
Warm eyes smiling like his curved lips, soft-looking hair, he appealed to you most. Seoho — the last of the incubuses to be listed, you hit order without a single thought. The screen was overtaken by a deep blue, a static noise echoing from the speakers as you released the mouse to cover your ears. Eerie in a new way, your eyes closed tightly to rid the color from your sight, eyelids heavy with spots encircling your pupils as you whined for it all to end. Like a switch being flipped, the screen went back and sound dismissed. Your mind lulled numb, peeling your eyes open and dropping your hands from your head.
Limbs cold although you were enwrapped by a warm layer from a blanket, your head delved under the thick fabric. Warmth filling your body and the heat rebuild under the covers, a slight tug from two fingers made you gasp. Stuck idle in shock, you felt the two fingers poke at your leg, long nails barely digging at the skin as the form gripped the fabric of the blanket with the two digits. Such like a person would remove a tablecloth from beneath the objects still on the table, the blanket was pulled from you. Floating in the air while still in motion, your eyes caught sight of the ordered incubus.
“Seoho.” you whispered.
“Are you hiding?” he asked, tossing the blanket over himself. Head wrapped with the soft cloth, his fluffy hair disappeared within the cover. His smile was bright even in the dark room. “Why are you hiding?”
You shivered before you could answer, his eyes blinking softly as he acquired an innocent look on his face. Nose lightly scrunched, eyes squinted, cheeks rosy, he lifted the blanket up into the air once more. The large cover scoured over your body, the top of your desk chair capped by the fabric as it layered over you. The heat regained on your skin, the feeling of the cold air from the man diminishing.
Your brows knitted, watching his shoes bend on his feet. His body crouched just as his finger tapped the small lamp at your desk, the colored bulb illuminating a glow to the room outside of your shield. Slipping his head beneath the fabric, he climbed inside the warm spot with you. Eyes filled with wonder, his two fingers connected with the trim of your shirt at your stomach, lifting it as his lips sucked a mark.
You didn’t have the chance to react, the incubus’s opposite hand rummaging with your pants as they glided down your legs. His nose flared, breathing in your scent as his innocent eyes regained their attention on yours.
“R-Ready?”
He was new at this, you could tell. The way his hand shook, body temperature ice compared to your own within the heated space — he was wary. The pads of his fingers soothed your heated skin, your hand wrapping around his wrist before he could reach the bottom of your abdomen.
“Seoho.” You whispered his name a second time, the bright yellow irises gazing up at you. His tongue had poked out into the corner of his lips, focused on what he was meant to do — but you had other plans.
A small tug at his wrist was all it took to collide your lips, his tongue slipping into your mouth in a rapid need to taste you. Your tongue moved above his, fighting against him enough to make him reel back. The layer of saliva between your lips created a trail, the same one reconnecting your mouths as you moved slower. Seoho moaned, the sound so deep it vibrated his chest. He was used to being quick, your fingers gently lacing in his hair to pull him closer bringing his heart to race. “Slow.” you spoke against his lips.
His head slightly nodded, body standing to bend over you in the seat. His form between your bare legs, he was a whining mess from how aroused you had become just from the kiss of his lips. Eyes shut tighter than your own, you pulled away from him to glide your hand from his head to his shoulder. Passing the divots of his chest, his button-up shirt undone in the process, you were met with his golden skin. So tedious, tender, your teeth sunk into it to suck a single mark. His knees grew weak, falling into your lap as you released him.
Your hand ran up his chest as he fell, cupping his cheek to tilt his head. Another deep kiss began, his fingers running along your body to find the most heated spot — between your legs. You were mewling, spiraling when his fingers connected with you. Whimpering against his mouth, the motions of his fingers swiveling around your arousal as your hips met his hand fascinated him. Your need was so calm, pacing him and giving as your own hand met his crotch. A gentle graze of your palm over his bulge and he was leaking into his pants, panting against your mouth and sucking the saliva from your wet cavern to replenish his thirst.
You felt the spots of his release growing, his winces enough to make you pull your hand back. He still didn’t release your mouth, lips moving in tandem with your own until you were both out of breath. Your eyes opened slowly, stuck under the blanket with sweat pouring off your limbs. The man was completely dry, hair extra fluffed from the fabric, horns short and prodding.
He smiled another cheeky grin. “Can we keep going?”

You could feel the sneeze threatening to break from your nose the moment the large sheet was tugged from the reflective piece. Dust fluttering through the air and glistening within the light beaming through the curtains, the decrepit edges of the gaper object captured your attention first. Once cradled by the heavy sheet, the wooden surrounding of the glass didn’t hold a single speck of dust. Carved and textured to the makers expectations, the wondrous mirror held a significance.
Inclined on top of your dresser, the dimming sunset caused an eerie glow to fill your bedroom, the mirror filtered by a deep orange and purple. Your index finger brushed against the chipping paint on the outer rim of the reflective piece, the scent of chemicals filling your nostrils as you backed away from the object. Tampered and remote, your senses felt drained when your eyes met your reflection. Body bending down and fingers grasping at the fabric of the sheet now on the floor, you stood up straight with knitted brows when the sound of a groan caught your ears.
The sheet between your fingers slipped from your grasp, an image in the mirror opposite of the reflection you witnessed seconds before. Playing like a movie, a man laid on top of his mattress, the covers pooled at his waist as his hand pulled at his length. The grunts and pants leaving his lips made you suck in a breath, a harsh swallow of the saliva watering your dry mouth slipping down your throat with a quiet gulp.
It was alluring, your gut pulling at your nerves in your body to become aroused while your mind fought to move your limb to sway the sheet back over the mirror. In limbo, you watched as his head pressed back into his headboard, Adam’s apple bobbing when the pad of his thumb ran along the tip of his cock.
Eyes watering, you couldn’t blink, an aroma to the man begging for you to keep watching, to not miss a second of it. His tongue poked from between his teeth, biting down on the wet muscle as his hand swiveled around his length, clenching around his cock to force himself into an orgasm. You watched as his hips lifted from the mattress to meet his own hold, stuttering as white liquid poured onto his thighs. His weight shifted on the soft bed, falling into the spread of the covers in post-orgasm as his eyes shot open.
You couldn’t move fast enough. The covers of his safe space pulled over himself, his gaping stare through the mirror evident that he could see your figure. His lips parted, mouth agape when his fingers connected with his discarded underwear beside his form, pulling the fabric up his legs from beneath the blankets before sliding his feet to the floor. Pacing up to the mirror, your dilated pupils wreaked havoc on his expression, a scared look in his eyes as he pulled the comforter from his bed and tossed it over his own mirror.
The breath that escaped your lungs was longed for. Your form bent over as you blinked rapidly while attempting to regain the sanity that left you from the scene. Remorse built in your heart, the uneven beat of the organ never once occurred until your feet placed you before the reflective object meshed with an eluded feeling swimming in your mind.
You felt the vibration of your back popping when you stood up, eyes shifting from the cold flooring to the same setting around you depicted in the mirror once more. Your own eyes glared back at you, solid and concerned, flustered. You could no longer see the man nor his room, your mind left to wonder just how the occurrence took place.
Piecing together all that you questioned in your mind, your fingers connected with the wooden frame a second time. Pulling the object into your palm, you used all of your strength to lift the mirror away from the wall, the sound of an item hitting the ground catching you by surprise as you let the mirror fall back into its place. Scattering down to the floor in search of the sound, a faded piece of paper floated from the breeze created by your body, the page slipped between your fingers as you lifted it to read.
“With only two alike in the world, here you see through the glass to find your connected soul. Remember: it only works if you’re both looking.”
The words on the page made you reel back with more questions than answers. The print read that the man you witnessed was somehow connected to you, but the strike of fear that took over him led to you wondering the true accuracy of the mysterious object.
Staring between the synopsis and the reflective glass itself, a bulb in your mind brightened so much it nearly burst. Fingers clenching into your palm, the cool structure of the mirror vibrated within the wooden frame as your knuckles bounced against it, knocking on the speculum as you would a door.
The reflection materialized, warping as the thick blanket over his mirror slowly plucked to the side. Large, brown eyes staring through the small crack of space, the man was still on edge. Brunette hair fluffed on his head, he slowly pulled the cover until you could make out every feature of his face. Prominent cheekbones rosy with plush lips, his hand laced into the locks of his hair to push it away from his face, his gaze dead set on you through his mirror.
“W-What is this?” his voice delicately asked, tone tired and treed.
You couldn’t find the proper words to explain the situation, finding the small page in your hand to be the only source of information you had on tap. Raising your hand into the air, you pressed the paper flush against the smooth surface of the mirror. His hand tugged at the blanket, pulling it farther from the mirror to let the light of his lamp give him the sight to read the rugged page. Pupils follow along with the flowing words, his lips silently reading what you had moments before, knitted brows giving you an ache in your stomach.
With the gut feeling that he was seconds from pulling the blanket back over the mirror, the entire fabric escaped from the reflective glass. His full body in your view, his large eyes finally delved into yours with a sense of rationality that fate had brought you both to own the only two mirrors alike.
“I don’t believe we’ve properly met yet.” he spoke with a louder tone now, raising his hand to send you a wave. “I’m Youngjo.” he smiled.

He had long forgotten where exactly he was, the disheveled man standing from the floor — crooked and pale. Hwanwoong had stumbled into something far greater than it appeared, a simple house call to investigate a spirit instantly going south when he wound up in the cellar.
Your laughter was soft, almost inviting when he had creaked down the steps into the cold basement. His eyes were wide and attention on the device in his hands, the ovulus only a tool to help — and yet it harmed. Your name had beeped over the screen, his lips reading it slowly as he nearly fainted. A common demon to his investigations, you had managed to bring him right into the most vulnerable place possible.
Trailing him for months when he refused to help you at a distant location, the chills running across his skin told you he remembered you well. Nights of tossing and turning, your cold fingertips running along his skin to tamper with his sleep causing him to leap from the mattress in distress. Dark circles under his eyes noticeable even within the dim moonlight through his window, he knew it was you.
“Having fun, darling?” you asked.
The cold temperature around him made him shiver, pulling at this coat to wrap it tighter around his form. He could hardly speak, the ovulus in his hand hardly gripped as you lightly tapped at his wrist. The box went barreling to the ground, smashing the screen as his flashlight in his hand flickered.
“What is it?” Pesky as you were from the beginning, you toiled with the man. Hwanwoong reacted accordingly to your hand running across his forearm, skipping and making a dash back up the steps. “Cat got your tongue?” The door of the basement closed shut before he could reach it, his form whisked by the breeze, stumbling down to the cement flooring a second time.
“Please.” he begged, voice a broken croak as his eyes teared up.
“How is it-” you started to speak, watching the man rile with anguished whispers passing his throat. “-that you always get to leave, but I must stay? Not quite fair, is it, Hwanwoong?”
His chills grew thicker across the exposed skin of his neck, your smirk coming into view as you let your form be seen by him for the first time. His eyes blinked rapidly, unsure of what he was witnessing, a befuddled expression on his face. He nearly seemed enticed by your presence, your head tilting to stare at him.
“Y-You can leave. You’ve followed me.”
“That’s not the context of the question, baby.” You spoke softly, just as when you first met. Your fingertips brushed at this hairline to remove some of the fallen strands from his face. He was becoming indulged in your every word, almost perplexed and spelled. “When you leave, I leave. Why is that? What is it about you that has forced me to stay along your side, unable to flee?”
Hwanwoong nearly choked on his own saliva, his lids clamping to replenish his dried eyes. His thoughts turned rapid, the reddened blush creeping onto his cheeks something that allured you.
He had made a mistake, but only once. The misuse of a spirit board, a call to yourself when you were most vulnerable — almost new to the supernatural world, becoming linked to the man after a simple request. Hwanwoong had asked for an incubus, someone to give him pleasure, but the tricky board only released you, a virgin demon.
“You!” you were seething. His thoughts were pictures to your mind, words like a novel as your teeth gritted. Meant to walk within the underworld — he had pulled you out by mistake, and now you were forced to stay with him unless banished. “Pleasure? Eyes rolling into the back of your head from orgasms, you bastard!”
Hwanwoong was overtaken by your words, the red along his cheeks now crimson while his eyes went bleak. He wanted to spit out that it was a mistake, but the way your form was closing in on him kept him quiet. His back pressed against the wall beside the staircase, lips thin. So vulnerable, only lust could fill his eyes.
Your arms lifted, anger boiling in your veins as you pressed him into the wall harder. His pupils blew from your form so livid, his tongue running along his bottom lip — taunting you. The sharp canines between your lips didn’t bring him to fear you more, only causing his knees to grow weak. He was entranced, obliviated to the true situation underlying the circumstance. Hwanwoong didn’t seem to care, pressing his lips to your own as you growled and forced him back.
A smirk proud on his lips, it was your turn to be flustered. The need to feel it again brought your toes to curl the second his silk mouth reattached to yours, your hand running along his front to palm at his length. His brows rose in excitement then your tongue broke between his lips, swiveling with his own and filling your mouth with his taste. A broken hum destitute in your body releasing, his roused state grew faster and rougher. The friction from your hand gave enough pressure to use the fabric of his pants against him, his quick breaths telling that he was close to his high.
Your sharp teeth almost broke the skin of his lips when his head reeled back into the wall, head pulling from you and lips parting with a loud moan. His eyes opened, half-lidded and riddled with the pleasure that he begged for as his orgasm released into his clothes. Small dots of his liquids stained through the fabric, your index finger poking into them to feel the warmth of his release.
“If I give you more of this, Hwanwoong,” Your voice lowered an octave from watching the stimulating scene, well known to you now that it was your purpose. An incubus in training positioned with your first task from an innocent human merely on accident. “Will you release me from you?”
“Depends on how good you’ll be for me.” he grinned slyly.

The light of the flash made spots layer your sight. Blinking your eyes rapidly in the hopes they would vanish, you moved your gaze down to your phone to experience the same fear as the night before. A man’s silhouette was just off the side of your bed, his shoulders wide and stance idle. Your form tucked in between your sheets out of fear, staring at the screen as you curled into a ball.
For weeks you had heard noises, a man’s voice faint within the home when you were busy, objects moving around to places you didn’t leave them, you pets scurrying out of the way of someone not there. It had chills across your skin repeatedly, the first sign of evidence being the picture you took the night before.
The same man was within the photograph, features sculpted but sight soft. He looked through you each time you stared at the screen. Your body rushed into a curved ball at the light tap of his fingers at your feet. You winced, trying to hide yourself beneath the covers, but his touch resurfaced as his cold hand gilded beneath the warm blankets.
Throwing the fabric off, your eyes scanned over your dark room. Town-home said to be old, you never would have guessed it was truly haunted until you saw the man’s apparition standing at the foot of your bed.
Your eyes blew wide from fear, hand dropping your phone to cover your mouth. In a muffled scream against your palms, his lanky form trudged around to the side of your bed, his cold hand placed on your shoulder. You felt like you were going to faint watching the man’s translucent limb fall through your body, his quick retreat back seeming to startle himself as he slightly jumped.
A pout formed on his lips, his eyes rising from his now clenched hands to meet your gaze. “I didn’t mean to scare you.” Bass-toned voice as gentle as his eyes, your form slowly lifted from the top of your mattress to sit on your knees, feet beneath your bottom to leap at him if he attempted anything.
“Well, you did.” His bottom lip poked out in a deeper pout, his hair bouncing on his head as he slowly sat down on the soft mattress. Instead of falling through the furniture, you watched him sit comfortably, twisting his body to stare at your confused state. “Who are you?”
The brightest smile pulled his mouth apart, teeth pearled in the white light of the moon breaching through your curtains. Full on a glorious night, his eyes caught sight of the uncovered, half-round window above the covered window. Pupils dilating from matching the ivory colored beams, his lips barely formed his own name as he grew entranced by the view before him. “Dongju.”
A sparkle was created in his eyes from the light of the moon, your neck turning to stare out the window with him. Unlike what you had been encountering, Dongju’s delicacy was distraction, your hand slowly moving over his head as his eyes kept their gaze on the sky. His hair felt like soft cotton, your fingers pulling at the strands lightly. The man blinked slowly, his attention soon turning to you lacing your digits against his head.
He didn’t look angry, his eyes falling shut under the bright spotlight of the moon as you continued to caress his skull. Unable to feel his touch, his hand glided through your thigh, the cold air making you wince as he reeled back.
“Guess it only works one way.” he smiled kindly. Eyes enchanted by your face and skin erupting with chills from your touch, the man fell onto the mattress with a huff.
He was nothing more than like you, a soul that had gone far too fast. His age was a curiosity, but it seemed evident that it wasn’t a larger number than your own. Body now facing the wall where the moon’s rays splattered the adjacent wall with shadows, he grinned.
“Why do you think the moon shines so brightly only a few times a year?” he asked, the question sounding almost rhetorical. His hand swiveled in the air, eyes set on the shadows matching his skin before displaying on the wall behind the limb. “There are only so many moons in our lifetime, but what makes the full moon so special?”
“It seems magical.” you responded softly, his peripheral catching your form twisting to lay beside him. So intimate towards a stranger, something about Dongju convinced you that he was found — not lost. “Werewolves need it, humans need it, nature uses it to its advantage — it’s a source of life.”
“So why am I stuck within it?”
Dongju had long perceived a point you never noticed was made. His apparition was strongest beneath the wide rays of the satellite in the sky, his skin glowing white and blue as he played with the light in his grasp.
“Maybe it enjoys having you here, Dongju.” you whispered.
For the first time in minutes, the man’s form turned over to glare at you. Your head stayed aligned with the ceiling, attempting to not break eye contact with the popcorn spots along the cover while well aware that you were too enticed by the spirit.
“I like it, too.” he replied now only to you. His attention was set on your rising chest, watching it fall and rise in tandem with the breaths leaving your nostrils. Slowly rising from his laying down position, his fingers pushed together and cupped, leaning his hand against your cheek.
Only within the light of the moon did his form finally touch yours, the cold feeling of the skin on your hot cheek enough to have him giggling, falling back down beside you with the sparkles still bright in his irises.
“I really like the moon when it’s full.” he smiled. You felt his eyes match your face once more, blinking slowly as his head rose and pushed against your own. Foreheads together, he could feel your heart beating fast, a blush rising on his cheeks. “Will it stay, for us?”
You could hear the tree smash from inside your home. The lonely grove not necessarily filled with such loud sounds caused you to break for your back door in search of the source. One rough pull at the wood gate allowed the eerie silence to pool in, your brows knitted from the commotion being at a sudden halt.
Even pretending that it didn’t happen couldn’t keep you locked inside. The flashlight in your hand already flickering the moment you stepped out of the doorframe, your palm smacking against it didn’t suffice. You tossed it back inside, eyes meeting with the large forest ahead of you.
Azure sky above to guide you, the hollow trees rushed quick wind at your form as you walked, eyes squinted from the harsh blows. Sounds carried through the thick breeze, the sound of birds singing high above, a creek running down below, and the faint whimpers of an animal.
Turning back to look at your house far off from where the sound emitted, you rocked on your heels. There wasn’t anything in the world that could leave you to abandon a hurt animal, not even one staring you down from the ground baring its teeth at your silhouette.
Blood spattered around its torso, a tree had landed clean on the skinny wolf. Tilted up against a second tree with just enough room to wedge the poor beast between it and the rocks within the ground, it didn’t take a college degree for you to know how hurt the animal is. Hair long and nearly matted, your eyes scanned over the large trunk crushing the being, your feet carrying you towards it slowly.
“It’s okay. It’s okay.” Your words didn’t affect the territorial dog, his jaws snapping and saliva drooling past his chops even though his head was pushed into the dirt. “I’m here to help.”
Your hand felt the sharp bark of the tree, the trunk heavy to move but not impossible. The growls of the dog gargled in front of you, a look of terror and worry in its eyes filling you with guilt. Palms flattening against the rough texture of the sapling, you felt the skin of your fingers breaking as you heaved all of your strength at the timber.
Eyes glancing down for a solid second, you caught sight of a tear escaping the wolf’s eye, remorse written on your face as you reeled back one last, hard blow. You heard the fallen tree escape the standing one, the large oak teetering until it drove to the ground. Acting fast, your hands laced into the locks of the wolf, tugging it forward without a single thought of danger to remove it from the area of the falling tree.
Not even a breath escaped the dog, your pull at the creature placing its head in your lap as your chest rose and descended rapidly. Your head tilted down, meeting the gaze of the dog - whose eyes were filled with bright irises as it decisively inhaled and exhaled, growing comfortable. It gingerly stood on its front feet, lifting itself with the help of its back legs. A light shake of the wolf, and you couldn’t even tell it had been injured, the blood formerly seeping into its fur and the hurt limbs healed in your view.
You had stood, brushing off your clothes before nodding at the animal. One step down, and a crack of a stick caught your ears. Another step away, and the light patter of paws against the dirt made you turn.
The wolf was following you, your confused look dismissed as you continued your way back home. It wasn’t until your shoes met the grass of your yard that you wanted answers, the same footsteps trailing you the entire way ending the moment you stepped through your fence’s gate.
Only dark shadows loomed what was once behind you, your mouth falling agape as you peered over the large trees and no animals. Everything in your mind told you to turn around, to go inside, but the second your eyes caught sight of a human arm, you were idle. A man emerged from behind one of the large oaks, his fluffy long hair and dark eyes making you swallow a loud gulp. Naked, he shivered, your hand rising to hold out your index finger for a moment to think.
“Seo-Seoho,” He shivered, your eyes blinking as you rushed and returned with a large blanket to wrap around his chilled form. His name brought an unintended smile to your face, his long canines slowly sinking back into his mouth rising with his jaws to form his own smile.
“Different.” You whispered lightly, his laugh ringing with a hum at the adjective you used to describe him.
He was gentle, following along as you welcomed him into your warm home while gifting food and water. Your fingers moved to lace through the handle of the jug, the object lifting into the air as water poured into the glass below without a single touch against it. Eyes shifting to Seoho carefully, his gaze was dead set on the item, eye contact necessary as he poured the liquid. “I got it.” he grinned cheerfully.
You didn’t lift another finger, Seoho’s powers over your head as he offered to help with everything. You sat across from one another, his body refreshed from a nice, hot shower as his hair was still dripping water onto his shoulders. He was amazed by you, watching your every movement like a hawk with a grin on his lips.
“What?” You asked him, minutes passed of his eyes searing into your form.
“You live alone out here?” He questioned, your light nod making him mimic the motion. Another light hum came from his chest, your head tilting and brows cocking as you looked him over. He was eccentric, far past anything you had witnessed as he giggled like a kid at the local fair. His eyes found every spot of your home comforting, the same breath that had escaped him when his head was in your lap regenerating in his throat. “Need a roommate?”

Smoke-filled lounge replete with the scent of liquor and jazz music, you were in the wrong place at the right time. Gifted a letter to meet at this exact location, anyone in their right mind would have made an escape the moment they realized where they were.
People gathered around one booth in particular, your gaze lingering on the spot for too long as you matched eyes with the main attraction. Kim Gunhak, notorious to your department, the man was like a ghost. Lauded for his work, he had become the informant to the local police, turning over those that were red carded. He had done more work than those on the force for more than thirty years, but it was all a gimmick.
Each criminal caught was another person on the list, Geonhak’s status rising at the top within months. A ploy to gain stability, he had the entire city wrapped around his finger with his batman status. The snake, himself, had fallen into the predatory stage. Every loose knot had to be tied or cut off, but he only bore so much string. His time was lessened the moment you sat onto the stool at the bar, the hand rubbing at his neck pushed away as he focused in.
The coat over your shoulders rubbed him the wrong way. Everyone’s attire was made for clubbing, but yours was dull, a uniform. It was as if he could see the badge in the pocket over your chest from through you, his shoes scuffing the flooring of the club to stand. Everyone around fell quiet, watching Gunhak amble towards his next, potential, victim.
“It doesn’t take a bright light to show that you’re out of your boundaries.” he incited.
Your face turned to look at the array of bottles lined on the shelves, the white lighting behind them allowing the luminescent colors to glow around the room. You could see his face contort in your peripheral, the expression you wore dull and omniscient.
“So,” he grinned, the top line of his teeth scraping over his bottom lip. “Just what precinct did you roll in from? Because if I have my facts straight, you’re off duty working illegally on a case right now, and that’s against the rules.”
“What is it, exactly, that you know about me?” you questioned.
Your eyes meeting his for the second time seemed to turn his skin cold, his eyelids falling heavy as he blinked rapidly. He seemed perplexed, your inquiry taking him by surprise. The cogs in his mind turned faster, his lips parting and closing in thought.
“I’m aware that you know who I am, and what I am, but it would truly entertain me to hear what you think I’m actually doing here, Gunhak.”
Your tone was stern, his mouth closing and lips twisting. He was being played, turning bitter as his position grew smaller. It was his own realm within the club, inside of the building, much more in the city, but you stood in front of him with a new game board; one he’d have to study before playing.
“Why don’t we take this somewhere else?” he asked politely, gesturing your gaze towards the sets of eyes all around. You were a waking movie to his people, the intentional disruption to the party going according to plan, but his patience wore thin.
You followed his broad shoulders, breaking past the group at his booth as they glared daggers into you. The frame was laced with hanging beads instead of a door, the plastic beads and silk ribbon curtains rustling when you made it into the back room. A separate lounge connected to an office, the business done here well past dirty. The floor was hard-wood, the stomps of his boots echoing although the sound wouldn’t leave the space. Music from the front bar blasted louder than when you sat within it, a noted detail that would soon lead to the situation you prepared for.
“Alright.” he growled, his form overtaking yours as his hands pressed on either side of your arms. His strength unmatched yours, barreling you into the wall as some of the objects on the shelves overhead jittered from the force. “What in the hell do you think you’re doing coming in here causing such chaos?” his voice turned hoarse, mouth dry as he swallowed hard.
“I was just following orders.” You gritted through your teeth, his eyes scanning over your face before his lips captured your own. Pressed against the wall so hard that you felt dizzy, the man sucked all of the oxygen from inside of your lungs, pulling back with a wicked grin on his face.
“You should know better than to listen to me by now.” he released a low chuckle. “Time and time again you come to me for answers only to leave covered in my lovebites. Your skin is stained with my scent, and no one even knows.”
You shuddered at his deep voice, his breath fanning against your neck as his lips attached under your jawline. He pulled a gasp from you, his eyebrow cocked with an explicit smirk flourishing on his face. Expression drowned in lust, his tongue gently poked from between his teeth, taking in the sweet taste of your skin, he let out a groan.
Pressed firmly against you, the wall at your back was sturdy enough to take the force of his hips colliding with your own. His rough movement erupted sounds from both of you, his brunette locks threaded between your fingers and lightly tugged. Taking your skin in between his teeth, you felt the bruise forming, his mouth sucking until red and purple painted the spot. Your heart was beating an unsteady rhythm inside your chest, his crotch aligned with your own to rock you back and forth in an even motion, gaining a pool of arousal in your gut with a sharp moan.
Head throw back, the cool wall kept the temperature of your body somewhat normal. Light drops of sweat from his temples slipped down the sides of his face, Gunhak’s bulge pleading a release against you with another faint groan. He held you to him, hand placed at the arch of your back when the light click sounded beside his skull. Your pistol drawn in the heat of the moment, his quick breaths and pants became deeper, tongue gliding over his bottom lip.
“I guess time’s up.” he blinked.
Lips finding yours for the final time, his silked skin pressed so hard into your mouth that friction ignited between your faces. Skin burning and mouth watering, his teeth bit into your bottom lip hard enough to draw blood, tongue lapping over the liquid with a deep inhale. His moan echoed in your mind, voice delicate compared to the man that had brought so much death and dread to your city. Eyes squinting in the dark space, his lips formed the last sentence he’d ever speak.
“It’s okay, baby.” he whispered. Closing his eyes, the loud blast sounded through the building, all fell silent.
Enchanted above, below, left, and right — your eyes wandered the field you had been warned of for your entire life. A restful place to some, a trickster to others, but your request was simple. A story you had been told about as a child, every part of the field within the trees held bits of magic. Even a simple blow of a flower could bring a soul out, ones named off to you one by one — but you wanted to see it for yourself.
Oxygen filling your lungs, your lips perked to push out the breath in a forceful motion. The dandelion’s stem between your fingers was wet from the light pour that morning. Gentle blow of your breath, the white-fluffed particles released from the bud and into the air.
Observing the remnants of the plant, the wind swept through the air and across the space where you sat. Surrounded by the flowers, the toll of your blow forged inside a stronger blow of the wind, the surrounding dandelions around you losing their white particles in tandem. The everlasting petals rotated in the air, spinning with the wind and encircling you.
Sun bright above, sparkles like glitter fluttered throughout the particles, forming a shape. Broad shoulders, a head and abdomen — a man was surging through the contemporary flowers. A face once featureless was created right before your eyes, the man’s skin bright as he blinked. Hand swiveling into the air, the last of the petals merged with him, every tissue contriving his existence. Ravn, Prince of Vitae — the man said to be most silvery even under a pitch black night.
You sat on the damp grass, a perplexed expression across your face. His lips sealed into a thin line before forming a toothless smile, his hand stretching out. The gesture small, the warmth of his skin was levitating, helping you from the ground as you stood before him.
“I’m never blowing on a dandelion again.” You spoke, stunned as all he could do was laugh.
Eyes wide, his gaze met the blue, cloudless sky. Brown irises intense in the sunlight, you were astonished by the man that had come from thin air — quite literally.
“W-What? How?”
His eyes peeled back down at you from the sky, the space above turning a somber orange as the sun lowered to set. Your eyes were wide, gaze running along the man from head to toe. Like a fairytale only told to children, his bleak face turned soft as his hand rose into the air once more.
Palm flat, his lips formed the lightest words you had ever heard. “Touch me.”
Your hand paced up to his, skin matching on skin for a second time. He felt real, blinking up at him like you were in a hallucination. His fingers broke the touch, lacing between your own in a tight, but painless grasp.
Columns of trees in all directions, the wind blew another harsh breeze. Your brows knitted, watching the dark hair on the Ravn's head move. No part of him unattached like when he was formed, your stumped face bringing another chuckle to rise from his chest. His smile grew wider, tall form bending down to make direct eye contact. Pupils aligned with yours, the top row of his teeth surged over his bottom lip, turning the skin of his mouth red. “Hello.”
“H-Hello.” Completely flustered by his presence, his hand started clapping against your own. Force little and his skin warm, your cheeks filled with heat as he stared deep into your eyes. “This was just a test.”
“I see.” he nodded, lifting his opposite hand to cup your cheeks. He smiled at the impact he gained from you, his own cheeks mirroring yours as he released you and backed away.
Eyes hellbent on your form, he twisted, flat palm swaying above the flowers at your ankles. Your eyes trailed the dandelions, watching as each and every one of them replenished from the white particles taken — the plants now capped by yellow petals. Your eyes went wide again, diverting your attention up at the sky as the color turned from orange to a deep blue, nearing purple for nightfall.
Your foot lightly kicked as you stepped out of the bed of flowers. The itch of your bare ankles from the petals made you stiffen, Ravn’s hand reaching to hold you up under your arm when you began to stumble.
“Thank you.” you replied quietly, his nod affirming your fall.
The sun's thick rays from behind the dark clouds had your eyes squinting, Ravn nothing more than a silhouette. His form stepped twice to the right, his body directly in line to block the illuminating light. A smile was quick to rise on your face, his gratefulness and consideration already growing on you.
“So, nothing in particular you were searching for?” His head turned, shadowed face giving you the moment to take him in. Era-ed clothing paired with his gleaming face, he looked more than eccentric — like the tale you were told, personified. He was depicted as knotty but sensitive, the man before you the exact illustration as he laughed down at you. He couldn’t hear your thoughts, but he knew what was on your mind. “No-” he chuckled. “I won’t be leaving in the same way I came.”
You blinked rapidly, trying to hold in the laughter that bubbled from your stomach. His cackle matched yours, shoulders lifting and dropping with every breath-holding laugh. He was gentler than gentle, persona so equipped to help others, but he stood in front of you like a friend.
“Must you go?” you asked, his right eye squinting. A wink playing on his face, his bottom lip sunk back in between his teeth, a bright flash of lightning from a far away could startling you.
Rain dripped from the sky at a quick pace, his hand rising up as the covers of nearby trees over grew into a roof. The sudden beads of water from the sky drew the air colder, his smile wide and deceit true.
“Seems like a storm.” A clap of thunder sounded above, your form leaping against him out of fear. “I guess we’re both stuck here for a little longer.”
