It belongs in a cartoon, the way Seoho jumps a foot and turns to face you with wide eyes.
“Nothing,” he says.
His hands are cupped together in front of him, still dripping from being under the kitchen faucet. You tsk and enter the kitchen, pulling a hand towel from a nearby drawer and moving towards him. He quickly draws his hands back to rest against his torso when you get within a foot of him, hands still cupped.
You raise an eyebrow, crouching to mop at the little puddle he’s created.
“Nothing, huh?”
The way his cheeks and ears pinken is adorable. His jaw works minutely, biting the inside of his lower lip.
“Uh-huh.”
You straighten up again and fold your arms, tilting your head to try and glimpse between his cupped fingers. “Is it something I’m going to be disappointed is in my kitchen?”
He immediately starts closing the gaps of his fingers, shrinking back against the sink. “Disappointed? Not upset?”
“I’m never upset with you, bestie,” you say, feigning shock at the mere thought. “Only disappointed.”
He pouts, and maybe it takes a conscious effort not to stare at the pretty shape of his lips. Not that you’ll admit it.
“You’re only ever disappointed with me? Never pleased or happy or….anything else?”
Maybe you want to take that as something more. But what if you’re wrong? You deflect, grinning at him. “Your distractions won’t work on me. C’mon. Show me the thing.”
He swallows, then shakes his head rapidly.
You make a face at him. “Seoho.”
He shakes his head again.
You raise your eyebrows. Well. Time to play a little dirty.
You take another step closer to him and enter his space. You audibly hear his breath pause when you lean in close, setting the damp towel on the counter next to him.
“You sure?” You ask quietly, ignoring your own pounding heart. Focus.
Seoho’s next breath sounds shaky. “Mhm.”
A smile tugs at the corners of your mouth. You lean in a little closer, indulging yourself momentarily and staring at his mouth as you fumble behind him to turn off the faucet.
“Very sure?” You ask.
When you drag your gaze away from his lips, you realize he’s staring at yours. A rush of warmth shoots through you. No. Focus.
He doesn’t answer, too distracted. Now’s your chance. Gently, still looking at his face, you take his hands in yours, prying them open carefully. He offers no resistance, and you glance down inside them.
“Oh my god,” you yelp. “Is that a frog?”
Immediately Seoho jumps back into action, yanking his hands from yours and cupping them shut again. “No.”
“It is,” you say, laughing disbelievingly. “You brought a frog into my kitchen.”
“He was outside in the grass,” Seoho says, voice insistent. “And he was covered in grass clippings and there was some in his eyes and I felt bad and wanted to clean him up—”
“It’s a frog!” You laugh, incredulous. “They live in nature, they get dirty, that’s just how it goes.”
“But it was in his eyes,” Seoho protests, looking at you imploringly. “I was just gonna rinse him off and send him back out again—”
“And you couldn’t have done this with the hose why?”
Seoho looks indignant, pouting. “Look at him. He’s just a little guy. He needs something gentler.”
You’re staring at his hands, shaking your head. “My kitchen sink?”
“Only for a minute,” he pleads. “It just looked painful, he kept blinking and the grass kept staying stuck in his eye and he looked so sad, you should have seen his little face, his eyes were…”
He keeps making his case, but you lose the thread, gazing at him. Sweet, stupid boy. The worst in the whole world. Caring about garden frogs. What if this is my final straw?
As it happens, it is. Before you can process what you’re doing, you’ve grabbed a fistful of his collar and guided him close, planting your lips on his.
It’s a wonderful, wonderful half a second. And then Seoho squawks in surprise and you’re pulled back into reality.
He leans back, blinking, eyes wide on you. “What? I….what?”
Your insides are swirling into a chaotic tornado of dismay. What were you thinking? “I….sorry. You were, um. Saying? About the frog?”
Seoho does not continue about the frog. He continues blinking at you, gaze trailing down to your mouth. You shift from one foot to another, uneasy.
“Seoho…?”
He leans in and kisses you again. It’s gentle, sincere, and suddenly you wonder how in the world you’ve gone this long without doing this. You kiss him back, unfurling your fingers from his collar and resting your hands on his shoulders. He settles his hands on the back of your arms, guiding you closer, kissing you in a way that makes you wonder if he’s thought about this, too.
You break apart to breathe, staying nose to nose.
“Seoho,” you murmur.
He hums quietly, resting his forehead on yours.
“Where’s the frog?” You ask quietly.
He’s staring at your mouth again. “Hm?”
“The frog. Where is it.”
He blinks, then stiffens, realizing where his hands are.
“Um.”
“Is there a frog loose in my kitchen?!”
He leans back, staring all around your feet and behind you with increasing urgency. Guiding you back and forth by his grip on your arms, checking around you. “I….maybe?”
Unbelievable. You start searching around your feet, as well.
“I’ll make you a deal. If you find him first, I’ll kiss you again.”
He turns to look at you so quickly you worry he’ll crick his neck. “What if you find him first, instead?”
You were in the kitchen gathering some snacks for you and the members of Oneus for the bonfire they had planned after promotions for their latest comeback finished, everyone was outside getting the fire setup while you left with your own thoughts.
“Let me help you,” Seoho says as he steps into the kitchen, you watch as he carefully walks towards you, the knee brace sitting uncomfortably around his knee.
“It’s okay, I got it,” You say. You didn’t want him to carry heavy stuff while his knee had been hurt, you had knee problems in the past and knew just how frustrating it was.
“Let me carry something light if you’re not going to let me carry anything heavy,” He says, stopping next to you. You hear a faint grunt leave him before he grips the counter. “It’s just a few more days… and then we will know the answers,” You nod your head, still concerned for him and his wellbeing. “Thank you for caring...”
“Of course, I will care,” You whisper. “I’m just concerned since you said the brace is uncomfortable,” He lets out a sigh and looks down at the brace. You turn towards him, placing your hand on top of his, giving it a soft squeeze. “I’m here for you, through it all.”
“Thank you,” He whispers. He wasn’t thrilled that this had happened, and you could understand why, and the pent-up frustration was building, not being able to do what he loves to do and what he used to do. “Not really how I wanted to spend my birthday…”
“It’s a shitty way to spend it…” You softly say. “I know the feeling, but I’m sure next year will be better,” He steps closer to you and wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a hug and burying his face in the crook of your neck, your hands immediately move to his back and gently pat down against it. “We’re here for you…” You feel him take in a slow and unsteady breath, signalling to you that he was trying not to cry. “It’s okay… you can cry, scream, anything to let it all out,” His body shakes against yours as he begins crying, you could feel his tears against your neck as it flows. “That’s it, let it out…” You could feel a knot forming in your throat and tears forming in your eyes, you hated that he had to go through this, you absolutely hated seeing him go through this pain.
From the corner of your eye, you could see slow movement and watched as Gunhak enters the kitchen slowly and as quietly as he could, he watched you both, knowing that his group members, and the person that was like a brother to him, cry in your arms about his frustration and pain. He knew that Seoho needed that, Gunhak knew Seoho had to let it out at some point, and he was just glad that he had you to be by his side so that he could let it out and be met with comfort and without judgement.
Gunhak quietly takes what he had come to retrieve before just as quietly leaving the kitchen, leaving Seoho to cry in your arms and let out all his pain and frustration. You could hear faint yelling from outside as the younger ones were probably playing around before it got quiet. Gunhak had probably told them what was happening inside between you and Seoho.
“It’s not fair…” He mutters as his body slowly calms down, his sobs slowly quiet down before he sniffs. “That’s how I feel…” You softly hum as you continue to rub his back. He slowly pulls back, his face red and puffy from crying. “I cried all over you, I’m so-”
“Don’t say sorry,” You say. “Don’t apologize for letting yourself cry and have emotion,” He nods his head, sniffing again. “You have every right to feel like this is unfair, and you have every right to voice it as well…” He nods his head again. You lift your hands to cup his face and carefully wipe the tears from his cheeks. “Do what you have to do to let out your anger and frustration over the situation, okay?”
“Okay…” He whispers. “Can we… can we share the blanket?” You softly smile and nod your head. The blanket, he was referring to, was the blanket that was dangling over the camping chairs outside at the bonfire.
“We can,” You say. “We always can,” You lean closer to him, your noses close to touching when loud rapid footsteps caused you both to pull back, just as Hwanwoong, Keohnee, and Dongju enter the kitchen.
“Hyung!” And within moments the three of them took everything towards the bonfire while also guiding Seoho out the door to join them, so they could try their hand at cheering him up.

A website, or a virus — you couldn’t decide. The screen was filled with clickable shapes and distracting ads, your mind so focused on the one task at hand. Find a lover, or just experience something greater.
The title ‘choose your own’ caught your attention so fast that you clicked without reading the warning label, another page overtaking the previous one. Names began to cascade over the screen, faces of handsome men within the tiles. You were overwhelmed, the number of incubuses all about drawing your mind blank as you scrolled down the page.
One by one, they all looked wicked. Your eyes glistened in the dark room with nothing but the light of the computer before you to keep you attentive. Your finger clicked the screen to the last page, only one man listed.
Warm eyes smiling like his curved lips, soft-looking hair, he appealed to you most. Seoho — the last of the incubuses to be listed, you hit order without a single thought. The screen was overtaken by a deep blue, a static noise echoing from the speakers as you released the mouse to cover your ears. Eerie in a new way, your eyes closed tightly to rid the color from your sight, eyelids heavy with spots encircling your pupils as you whined for it all to end. Like a switch being flipped, the screen went back and sound dismissed. Your mind lulled numb, peeling your eyes open and dropping your hands from your head.
Limbs cold although you were enwrapped by a warm layer from a blanket, your head delved under the thick fabric. Warmth filling your body and the heat rebuild under the covers, a slight tug from two fingers made you gasp. Stuck idle in shock, you felt the two fingers poke at your leg, long nails barely digging at the skin as the form gripped the fabric of the blanket with the two digits. Such like a person would remove a tablecloth from beneath the objects still on the table, the blanket was pulled from you. Floating in the air while still in motion, your eyes caught sight of the ordered incubus.
“Seoho.” you whispered.
“Are you hiding?” he asked, tossing the blanket over himself. Head wrapped with the soft cloth, his fluffy hair disappeared within the cover. His smile was bright even in the dark room. “Why are you hiding?”
You shivered before you could answer, his eyes blinking softly as he acquired an innocent look on his face. Nose lightly scrunched, eyes squinted, cheeks rosy, he lifted the blanket up into the air once more. The large cover scoured over your body, the top of your desk chair capped by the fabric as it layered over you. The heat regained on your skin, the feeling of the cold air from the man diminishing.
Your brows knitted, watching his shoes bend on his feet. His body crouched just as his finger tapped the small lamp at your desk, the colored bulb illuminating a glow to the room outside of your shield. Slipping his head beneath the fabric, he climbed inside the warm spot with you. Eyes filled with wonder, his two fingers connected with the trim of your shirt at your stomach, lifting it as his lips sucked a mark.
You didn’t have the chance to react, the incubus’s opposite hand rummaging with your pants as they glided down your legs. His nose flared, breathing in your scent as his innocent eyes regained their attention on yours.
“R-Ready?”
He was new at this, you could tell. The way his hand shook, body temperature ice compared to your own within the heated space — he was wary. The pads of his fingers soothed your heated skin, your hand wrapping around his wrist before he could reach the bottom of your abdomen.
“Seoho.” You whispered his name a second time, the bright yellow irises gazing up at you. His tongue had poked out into the corner of his lips, focused on what he was meant to do — but you had other plans.
A small tug at his wrist was all it took to collide your lips, his tongue slipping into your mouth in a rapid need to taste you. Your tongue moved above his, fighting against him enough to make him reel back. The layer of saliva between your lips created a trail, the same one reconnecting your mouths as you moved slower. Seoho moaned, the sound so deep it vibrated his chest. He was used to being quick, your fingers gently lacing in his hair to pull him closer bringing his heart to race. “Slow.” you spoke against his lips.
His head slightly nodded, body standing to bend over you in the seat. His form between your bare legs, he was a whining mess from how aroused you had become just from the kiss of his lips. Eyes shut tighter than your own, you pulled away from him to glide your hand from his head to his shoulder. Passing the divots of his chest, his button-up shirt undone in the process, you were met with his golden skin. So tedious, tender, your teeth sunk into it to suck a single mark. His knees grew weak, falling into your lap as you released him.
Your hand ran up his chest as he fell, cupping his cheek to tilt his head. Another deep kiss began, his fingers running along your body to find the most heated spot — between your legs. You were mewling, spiraling when his fingers connected with you. Whimpering against his mouth, the motions of his fingers swiveling around your arousal as your hips met his hand fascinated him. Your need was so calm, pacing him and giving as your own hand met his crotch. A gentle graze of your palm over his bulge and he was leaking into his pants, panting against your mouth and sucking the saliva from your wet cavern to replenish his thirst.
You felt the spots of his release growing, his winces enough to make you pull your hand back. He still didn’t release your mouth, lips moving in tandem with your own until you were both out of breath. Your eyes opened slowly, stuck under the blanket with sweat pouring off your limbs. The man was completely dry, hair extra fluffed from the fabric, horns short and prodding.
He smiled another cheeky grin. “Can we keep going?”

Fantasy/Halloween Drabbles - OPEN
“You know once that I’ll do it, there won’t be any way back, right?” Seoho asked. You were sitting across his lap while was holding your hip and caressing your cheek gently. You were looking deep into his dark brown eyes, your arms around his neck. “I want you to do it, Seoho. “ you whispered. That made the man chuckle deeply. He couldn’t believe that it was you who was beginning him to do it and not the other way.
You and Seoho knew each other just for a few months. But those few months were the most exciting, happy and the most passionate months in your life. You were making him feel alive like no one before and he was making you feel complete. He was your perfect half and you were his. Seoho was already living for hundreds of years and there were times he wished that he could die but when he met you he was thankful that he could live, Centuries of suffering were worth it because now he had you in his arms.
Seoho softly pecked your lips, “Are you sure?” he asked. “Of course I’m sure. I want to be with you forever. And I know you can feel it too.” you said and kissed him deeply. The vampire groaned and kissed you back. His kisses were always so hot, so addictive, so full of life. His grip on your hip got tighter and his gentle hand that was caressing your cheek was now firmly holding the back of your neck.
Your hands were in his soft hair gripping hard on them. You started grinding on him. It was always like this. One simple kiss turned into heated make out seasons and sometimes to even something more intimate. He broke the kiss and took your face in his palms. “What are you doing to me?” he smiled and shook his head. “I’m asking myself this every day. How did I deserve you?” his eyes were now carmine red.
“I guess someone finally decided after centuries of torture to reward me.” he smiled beautifully and kissed you again. This one was slow, gentle but still firey. “Do you like your reward?” you asked smirking. He bit his bottom lip. His canine teeth were already longer. You never told him but he knew you were so turned on when you saw him like that. His eyes red and his canine teeth long and sharp ready to torn your skin any second. “It was worth it.” he said, his eyes shining.
He took your sides and laid you down, him above you. Your hands slowly crept upon his chest and started unbuttoning his black shirt. You revealed his snow-like skin on his perfect shaped torse and ran your hands from his abs to his chest and around his neck. You thought he’ll kiss your lips but went for your neck. He was placing butterfly kisses and the openmouthed kisses. “Do it Seoho.” you moaned out.
“But..” he wasn’t sure again. “No buts.” you sighed. You hold his head from the back and forced his lips on your neck again. “I want it. And I know you want it to...Change me, Seoho.” you said and the love of your life dipped his teeth to your neck for the first time.
[7:34 PM] Seoho could smell the takeout you brought into the apartment before you even called “I brought takeout!” into the living room.
“Oh, you angel,” he sighed, sitting up on the couch. “In here!”
You set the takeout bag on the coffee table before slipping beneath the blanket he was curled under and wrapping your arms around him, pressing your lips to his. Seoho squawked in indignation against your mouth, breaking the kiss with a shiver.
You grinned. “Your lips are really warm.”
“Yours are freezing,” Seoho said, betrayed. “What, did you stop to fish on an ice floe with a polar bear on your way back?”
You tucked herself in closer to his side, getting comfortable. “If I’d met a polar bear on my way back from getting takeout, I’d be cuddling it instead of you right now.”
“You’d better take that back.”
You glanced up at him, a smirk twinkling in your eyes. “And if I don’t?”
You squeaked in surprise, bursting into desperate giggles as he knocked you onto your back, tickling your sides.
“Take it back, angel.”
“N-never!” You laughed, thrashing against Seoho’s hands prodding along your sides.
“Take it back, or I’ll–oof!”
Your head jerked, whacking straight into his, and Seoho toppled off the couch with more drama than was necessary and lay on the floor, clutching at his face for effect.
You, of course, saw right through the act, and began positively cackling. You sounded so genuinely tickled that Seoho couldn’t help laughing, too, and for a long minute you lay there, laughing together.
“I guess,” you panted, catching your breath, “I guess cuddling you will have to do.”
“You can’t cuddle me now. You have to take me to the emergency room,” Seoho said cheerfully. “I’ve been gravely wounded by your hard head.”
“I’ll take your food back to the restaurant, I swear,” you chuckled.
Seoho grinned, winking at you as he sat up. “Bring the blanket and come sit down here with me.”
[9:13 PM] “You know, I’m someone who takes a lot of dares, myself,” you mused, staring up at the haunted house attraction at the carnival, “but even I’m gonna tell you to limit your dares to what you can handle.”
You turned to Seoho, who was pouting and trying to pretend he wasn’t pouting.
“But it was Keonhee who dared me,” Seoho whined, trying to pretend he wasn’t whining. “And if Keonhee, who is scared of everything, can dare me to do a haunted house, then I have to do it.”
“You don’t have to do anything,” you reminded him. “Your pride and your ego are just a little fragile, is all.”
“I mean, I know, but hey,” Seoho protested.
He drew himself up to his full height and turned to you, eyes big and pleading.
“Go with me?”
You rolled your eyes. “Won’t that defeat the purpose of the dare?”
“He never said I had to do it by myself,” Seoho said, looking relieved at the loophole he’d discovered. “Pleeeeease? Can my Big Brave Bestie come with me through the haunted house? Just the once?”
You sighed, grinning at the haunted house. “Fine. But you have to buy me an elephant ear afterwards.”
“Done.”
The line to go inside wasn’t too long, and you could tell Seoho was bummed about it. You turned to him and put on your most business-like face.
“Front or back?”
“Huh?” Seoho tore his nervous gaze away from the dark entrance to look at you.
You folded your arms. “Do you want me to walk in front of you or behind you? I’m cool with either one.”
“Of course, of course,” Seoho muttered. “You’re scared of nothing, I guess.”
You made a face. “I’ve been through a couple of these before. It wasn’t so bad. Now, front or back?”
“…Back,” Seoho mumbled, and you grinned, clapping him on the back and moving to stand behind him.
The nearer the two of you got to the door, the slower Seoho moved.
“Keonhee’s dare isn’t going to get any easier,” you pointed out.
He mumbled something you didn’t quite catch. You leaned in closer. “Hm?”
“Could you…hold my hand?”
You blinked. “Um…”
“Please?” he pleaded, and you couldn’t even tease him for it, because he sounded so sincere and desperate. “Please? I could die in there. You never know. Freak accident. Please? Hold my hand?”
“You’re not gonna die, Seoho,” you mumbled, but after a moment you offered up your hand.
He audibly sighed in relief as he laced his fingers through yours. You swallowed, suddenly incapable of making any sort of witty remark. This was…hm. Why did this feel so nice?
“Promise you won’t let go?” He asked, inching closer to the entrance.
You didn’t say anything for a long moment, then squeezed his hand.
A44— “I didn’t want it to end, I just thought you’d be better off without me..”

You stare at Seoho as he stood in the doorway of your once shared apartment, the room felt cold as he looks at you, you were sitting on the bed, the covers pulled to your thighs, you hadn’t moved since the break-up, and now he was here to collect his things, you hadn’t even gathered them, because you didn’t want him to go… even if you were the one that broke up with him.
“I’m… I’m sure you know why I’m here,” He says, you could hear it in his tone, he had been crying but was trying not to let you know, but with how puffed his cheeks looked and how red his eyes were, you could tell… you looked the exact same.
“I… haven’t had time to gather everything,” You whisper, he swallows and clears his throat, trying to clear the lump forming in his throat. “You can come back another time… and I’ll have everything ready,” Your voice broke as you spoke, and he almost wasn’t sure what you had said, he slowly nods his head.
“Then… I can gather it,” He says, your breathing stops for a moment, you didn’t want him to do that, you didn’t want to see the place become emptier and emptier. “Do you have a box?”
“No,” You say, your voice firm for the first time since you spoke, he nods his head.
“Then a bag will do also,” He says, you could feel panic rising up in you.
“No,” You say again, he lets out a sigh and runs his fingers through his hair.
“Then what do you want me to use, Y/n?” He asks, you chew on the inside of your cheeks, you could feel your eyes burning as tears were forming in them. “Actually, answer me this, why did you break up with me?” You could hear the change in his tone, he was becoming slightly aggravated, you take in a deep breath and slowly look away from him, moving your gaze to the window, not wanting to look at him, you hear footsteps move across the floor before he entered your view. “Answer me, dammit,” You look up at him.
“I didn’t want it to end…” You whisper, this confused him and almost had him stepping back. “I just thought you’d be better off without me…” He takes in a deep breath and runs his fingers over his face, pinching the bridge of his nose.
“Why… why did you think that?” He asks, he carefully moves your legs more onto the bed and sits down, he reaches for your hand only to stop. “Why did you think I’d be better off? Did I say something that gave you that impression?”
“I just… thought that you didn’t need anyone holding you back…” You whisper, he watches a stray tear run down your cheek. “And lately I’ve been so down, and bringing you down with me… I didn’t want to see you push aside your happiness anymore,” This time he reaches over, whipping away the stray tear. “I hated seeing you lose the sparkle in your eyes when you saw me moping.”
“I don’t like seeing you upset…” He whispers. “And each time I saw it, I wanted to know who had caused that sadness… so when you broke up with me, I thought it was me,” You lift your gaze to look at him, his heartbreaking as he saw them glossed over with tears. “But… relationships take work, you had no right to decide for me if it was the best or not,” He pulls his hand back, pressing it into the bed. “I wished you had spoken to me instead of ending things between us.”
“I’m sorry,” You whisper, he lets out a soft sigh and moves closer to you, he wraps his arms around you, pulling you against his chest. “Will we be okay?” You knew the answer, it would take time before things would ever be okay between you two again. “I’m sorry…”
“Stop… don’t apologise, stop saying sorry,” He mutters. “Just… come talk to me next time if you ever feel like that again,” You nod your head against his chest, wiping your tears off against his shirt, he hated seeing you cry like this. “We can figure it out, together, we’re a team… we’re supposed to take the world on together,” His hand slowly rubs over your back in a comforting way. “This just means we need to work a little harder on us, but as far as I’m concerned, this isn’t the end of us.”
