The Oni Warlords were created out of darkness by the Omega, and created masks to store their powers in.

Also Mystake was the Deception Warlord and had a kid who ended up being Lou, making him a future warlord, so he is one of the most powerful Oni there is

Oni Warlords

The Omega created the three Oni Warlords, Venge, Decer, and Ha’eed, out of pure darkness.

Before the three left to track down the fsm, Decer created a single kitten, named Lyre.

Long after Ninjago had begun to thrive, and two of the Oni Warlords had been destroyed, the Oni were driven from the First Realm by the dragons, and Lyre abandoned them for Ninjago in search of his mother.

Unable to find her, he disguised himself among the humans, talking to them and learning more about the realm of Ninjago.

One day, he met two young boys, named Wu and Garmadon. He could sense their Oni and Dragon blood, and asked what they knew about them.

The two swore by the dragons’ goodness, bringing light and balance to the Sixteen Realms.

They also told him about the Oni, treacherous beings who only sought to destroy. Creatures with no emotion, things of pure evil.

They said that this was what their father had taught them, and that he never seemed unsure about what he said, so it must be true.

Saddened, Lyre started thinking. He had spent a long time away from his kind, and was becoming scared and worried.

Was that really what others thought about the Oni? Were they as bad as the people of Ninjago believed?

Lyre wasn’t sure anymore, and decided to abandon the Oni all together.

Being the son of the Warlord of Deception, he was a master of lies.

He built himself a legacy throughout the years, making a name for a future version of him.

Once he decided that everything was ready, he renamed himself to Lou, officially joining the human society.
