In fact, my original intention in creating these short comics was to promote Xiaolin Showdown in China. However, I will still publish them here, treating it as a way to thoughtfully manage my blog and let more people appreciate my work.(-_-)ゞ
I was thinking about the Three Oni Masks, and a theory came up.
So we know that the Mask of Vengeance was taken first. Then Deception, and the last one was Hatred.
The Oni Trilogy starts off with the Mask of Vengeance being stolen. Which could symbolize Harumi putting her plan into play. Vengeance for what happened with the Great Devourer. That's how it begins.
Then the next mask was taken a few episodes later, when Lloyd and Harumi are on the bike, trying to get away from the SOG. She drops it, so they lose it. However, Harumi is taken in, and that's when she begins Deceiving Lloyd and the Ninjas.
The last mask was where Harumi and Lloyd went to the Oni Temple. The Mask of Hatred. And what happens when they get the Mask of Hatred? Lloyd realizes that Harumi wants to hurt him, and that she's been lying. How she's full of Hate.
I dunno, I hope this makes sence? It was just something that came to mind.

Ninjago Concept: Dragon Masks
As we know, when FSM escaped from the First Realm, the Oni sent three warlords out to capture and return him. They were eventually defeated, being memorialized in the form of three powerful masks (the red Mask of Vengeance, granting extra arms and expert swordsmanship; the purple Mask of Hatred, granting nigh-invulnerable armor; and the orange Mask of Deception, granting telekinesis). But what if the Dragons also sent three of their own, only to be defeated and memorialized in the same manner?
The Dragon Masks!
The Mask of Passivity! A cyan mask that grants its wearer the ability to absorb, reflect, or nullify any attack! But the wearer loses all offensive initiative.
The Mask of Obsession! A chartreuse mask that grants its wearer the ability to form an unbreakable connection with another person or people or object(s), be it physical, emotional, or psychic! The only downside is that it leaves the wearer vulnerable to shared harm or distress.
The Mask of Indiscretion! A blue mask that grants its wearer the ability to lock objects in place, creating zones of absolute stillness! Within this field, nothing can be moved, manipulated, or altered!
(I think, if they used an existing piece for it, it would be the Crystal King face piece, since that one is draconic and attaches to a helmet piece like a hinge just like the Oni Masks)
A gift for @wei-smiler She is so beautiful that I immediately fell in love
Imagine the episode, Game of Masks, if you will.
Just it going as it canonically does.
The Ninja captured and Harumi and Lloyd are in the temple. Harumi sets off a trap on purpose and the two have to leave the collapsing room together. Lloyd still leads the way, Harumi leads him to the room where the mask would be, he breaks down the wall and the two go into the room where a light shines on an altar.
The altar where the Mask of Hatred should be except...
The Mask isn’t there.
