While i was at school today, a thought popped into my brain:

The oni ninja fight over blankets, but usually end up sharing it in a nest like cuddle pile anyway.

Apparently it's a lot colder on the top of a mt than a desert at night. Go figure

The first time I saw this blog's name, I thought it was "pack sticks together" as in "let's take a bunch of sticks and pack em really tightly together, just to have ONE OMEGA STICK." Not my finest moment. XD How are the oni children doing today?

Jay's been acting more erratic tho, it's probably just the new food. . .

“This is so stupid Jay”

“Relax I know what I’m doing.”

“You’ve done this before!?”

“Do you want that new leg or not?” Jay snapped, and that shut Zane up. Jay had offered to make Zane a better prosthetic, one that would allow him to walk with less of a limp and maybe even allow him to run. But apparently, to do that Jay needed to raid a hunter settlement.

“Jay, are you sure about this?” Zane worried, staring at the camp about half a mile from their hiding spot. It was late at night and the patrols had slowed, but Zane still didn’t like this.

“Yes, I only need a few parts. Relax.”

“What if you get caught?”

“I won't, I’m too fast for those dumbos. I’ll be in and out, no problem.” Jay smirked as he snuck out of their hiding spot. Crouching on all fours, Zane watched as he thumped his foot a few times, and then he was running, becoming a blur as he sprinted to the camp.

Zane watched in apprehension, just waiting for someone to raise the alarm. They came out here alone, no one else knew where they were or what they were doing. Meaning that they were vastly outnumbered if Jay was caught. Zane watched for what seemed like forever, but no alarm sounded, nor any humans shouting, just the quiet of the desert as Zane waited.

Finally, he saw Jay sneak out a window of a building. With a bag slung over his shoulder as he slowly slinked off. At least until he was far enough away that the jingle of metal wouldn’t alert anyone, and he began to sprint back. In no time stopping before Zane. Who immediately pulled him into a bear hug.

“Ok ok!” Jay chuckled as Zane released him. “I told you I’d all be fine! Now,” He grinned, opening the bag to show off his haul of metal parts and tools, “let's build you a new leg!”
