For your shish kabob marinade, learn how to quickly and accurately cut onions into small pieces. If you cut your onions perfectly, they will make your kabobs taste better.
Ingredients: 2 large onions. 1 sharp knife. 1 cutting board.
Instructions: Peel and cut off the ends of the onions. Slice each onion in half, making sure to keep the root end intact. Remove the outer papery skin layers of each onion half. Make vertical cuts from the top, stopping just before reaching the root end, creating even wedges. Rotate the onion and make horizontal cuts, again, stopping just before the root end, to form small diced pieces. Repeat the process for the other onion halves. Your finely diced onions are now ready to be used in your shish kabob marinade.
