@onioning can’t stop him.
“Oh? Feeling brave?” She asks with a coy little smile. Not that she’s complaining; very few people ever get into her antics, after all. Still… Now that someone’s actually agreeing to it, she’s a little worried. What if this guy hurts himself? Breaks that beautiful, beautiful jaw of his?Gosh. She’s so small making a jump off a roof into a tiny carriage of hay is hardly a challenge - but he’s bigger! Much broader! Limb-i-er! (Totally a word. Just don’t look it up.)
“Alright, but if you break something I’m gonna cry, so,” Nabalam continues, already jogging up the stairs before him. “Don’t!”
“Eh,” the lieutenant dismissed, striding lazily yet keeping up fast at her heels. “Wouldn’t stay broken forever.” A gross oversimplification of the very real threat of severe injury.
He had half a mind to peer right over her head, but in the lost moment he remembered his manners and changed course to glance over the building’s ledge. The wind cuts him on the only part of him exposed, a chill hitting his helmetless face to emphasize the length of here to there.
Cremisius can think of no reason to give it time to stew, so he doesn’t. “Me first.”
Those are pretty good last words, right? Shit yeah. Off the side plummets the warrior, a crooked smile blurring as he descends the long, long way down hopefully to the intended objective. His pauldrons knock noisily against the corners, but a splash of hay indicated a more-or-less direct hit.
The carriage, however? Not so lucky. The sudden impact of the lieutenant fully clad in heavy armour splintered the wood and sent it collapsing.
