Sputtering as Aya recoiled from her as she wiped at her mouth with the back of her hand. 

She didn’t think she’d given her that much to drink, but well, apparently even Onis had a point where they could get too drunk. Aya just didn’t expect her tongue to be there when she lunged towards her.

On her quest to acquire more knowledge of the City she was now imprisoned in, it was only natural to visit the district with the most books, correct? Even if the shelves are moldy, and the books have fallen into disrepair, some had to be readable, right?

So, she was going down the spiral staircase in Sector oo5, down into district Epsilion. Or, she would be, if she hadn’t been distracted by a rather cute girl... While she was becoming used to people with horns, tails, and all other kinds of inhuman appendages, she had to say that her horns appealed to her. A cute ribbon, and another in her hair, on her dress...

You couldn’t tell by her facial expression, nor her personality, but Maki actually did appreciate girly things. Let her soak this in for a moment. “Cute...”

It was an idle threat, and no one had complained about the girl (well, not specifically to him, anyway). Adachi just couldn’t stand the stench any longer and needed a reason to get her to stop. Hopefully, she wouldn't call his bluff-he’d called in sick earlier that morning to avoid heading into work, so he very well couldn’t show up to the station when he was supopose to be resting in his apartment.. If Dojima knew that he was playing hooky, he’d tear into him for sure...The thought terrified Adachi more then anything else in the city.

It takes her about thirty seconds to pinpoint the source of the smell, and thirty more to take in this woman’s appearance. Horns, gnarled ones that look more like branches than anything else, long blonde hair, and a weird gourd-looking thing in her hand.

She squints.

“What’s with those ring things on your horns?” Or, well, horn singular, but she was here to harass strangers about their physical appearance, not win a spelling bee. At first she was curious about who reeked of alcohol this early in the morning, but now this lady’s (or rather, her horn’s) got her curious.

Not that you could tell as much from her expression; if anything, Eiko just looks incredulous. Or offended, maybe. How come this lady got two?

The horns on that girl were new. She’d look human, if not for them... Couldn’t help but make Samus wonder if she was cosplaying something, or she was a human-like extraterrestrial that got brought here. Or something else entirely, even... Some kind of extradimensional being, like she’d seen back on Dark Aether.

It was interesting, in a way, to see the way the cultures and differences from other worlds came together here... It was something Old Bird, and the other Chozo, would have loved to seen. If the people here hadn’t been kidnapped, at least...

Samus walked over to the young woman, and cleared her throat in hopes that the other would notice her.

“Do you know where someone could find a bar?”
