Cooper and Bailey are adorable litter mates. They are BFFs that share many good qualities but had developed a few bad habits. Walking these two, although they are small, was a huge challenge. They would pull to be ahead and barks and lunge anytime they passed a person or a dog. They used to go crazy when the landscapers came over and were nervous around new people. They progressed a great deal and are now walking politely on leash and don’t care about seeing dogs or people on a walk. They go to their place when the landscapers come and are growing more confident with strangers. Congrats you two!

Meet JD! She is an adorable pup from Amityville. JD was very difficult to walk before she met us. She would lunge and bark at people and dogs. She also jumped up on new guests coming in the house. I’m proud of this girl! She has turned over a new leaf and is walking right at her owners side. They can walk past people with ease and great improvement when passing a dog. Keep up the good work!

Barkley is a 16 month old Labrador Retriever mix from Seaford. Barkley’s family first called Sublime K9 to help with his lack of impulse control. He went crazy every time someone came into the house or passed him on the street.

We taught him place, sit-stay, drop it, leave it and come. He does very well with all of his commands. When he forgets to remain in place, a single prompt reminds him to stay put. We walked him around the neighborhood while drones flew overhead, kids rode skateboards and dogs walked by and he kept a cool, calm demeanor. He even came when called. We repeated the exercise in a pet store and along a strip mall and once again Barkley did well. Keep up with the training and remember the leash is key to success. Good luck Barkley and family. I am happy I had the opportunity to meet all of you.
