man, theres some fucking online creators from the last 20 years for whom every now and then, i stumble upon their work and i go-

why did you have to be such a scumbag

-because its been a long time already since they got fucking canceled and slunk off the internet, but still their body of work remains

and these individuals were online giants in their day, beloved and right on the cusp of having all that talent and success spill into the real world. real tv and music stuff, commercials and music videos and more!

And i mourn their creative loss because NO ONE made the kind of stuff they did and no one has since. The kind of stuff that reshaped the neural plasticity of yo brainz, that changed you as a person. But jesus god were they horrible people, and all that self poison eventually killed off any career opportunities and fans they had

and now its been so long and all it takes is stumbling upon a random work of theirs at 1:30 on a wednesday to make you go fuck they were good, look at that and get real sad

Yeah, yikes, the WildWorks CEO (Clark Stacey) has fallen for that N-F-T fad and hosted an AMA last night within the Fer.al server.

I was mostly observing but pitched in my own questions here and there. The questions he selected and answered kinda... Went in circles.

Seems he'll be stubbornly set on going through with the Cinder project. A real shame.

I haven't seen the concerns addressed in my posts and some others get answered yet, either. There's a lot of opacity (rather than transparency) between Clark and the WildWorks game communities as is. This did not help with consumer trust.

If the whole Cinder thing really launches, I guess Clark can have fun depending on the funds of crypto-bros since he's going to lose MASSIVE support from people playing the other WildWorks games. That much is evident now.

Oh, and I almost forgot about this message I wrote at the beginning of the AMA:

Here is my question and concern: How would going into blockchains be productive at all for your current online communities that have been active within Fer.al and Animal Jam? I have many concerns about inviting the type of people who invest in N-F-Ts and other block-chain avenues as they can be hostile, toxic, and financially predatory. Please, I kindly ask that you do more research and listen to broader communities (especially creative communities like fellow artists) before pursuing this with 100% certainty." ]

I raised this question because in his announcement Tweet on the Feral Twitter, he linked to the Discord server as well. Hosting the Cinder block-chain game AMA there? Who knows how many crypto-bros joined/will join in a server for a game they know nothing about - let alone care for - just to read the AMA or mess with people in that community. The poor Discord mods have enough on their plate after this, honestly.
