09/02/2021 The snow is so peaceful so I've moved all of my desk bits to face the window. I had a crazy busy day yesterday but hopefully that makes today easier. I'm missing my boyfriend a lot today, we had the best snow days when we weren't long distance. X Emily

🪴Some note taking from last week. I love finding new, efficient ways to take notes. Even though I will be graduating in spring, I am still learning how to learn, which I think is a beautiful thing. If I do go on to my Masters degree as I plan, I think this will be useful.

Today I was learning about the specifics of each step of transcription and translation, these are some of the notes I made :)

3rd draft of notes i’ve done. i feel like i’ve finally drilled this and the perfect into my head and was able to simplify this enough to remember only the important parts :) (should’ve included sentence examples though ...)

16th July - Do you have a lot of work to do for school or university or your job this summer?

It’s my first year of community college, so I don’t really have a grasp on what the workload will be like, but I’m taking 6 units for the second summer session (starting in 4 days!!). I won’t start working a job for a few more weeks either, so we’ll see. It’s definitely a bigger workload compared to what I’ve been doing the past month - some random german studies here and there, but not much overall hehe

For my Geography class, it is actually very interesting but the readings can be dense. I have the first test this Wednesday and I am low key terrified. But here are my notes from the PowerPoint presentations and I am happy with them.
