I remember that it hurt.
It's like an unstoppable force that was shot through my heart.
The cold sensation that creeps from every part of my limbs, I knew that it would take some time for me to recover. But I never thought it would be this painful to see that person with a new lover.
I remember grieving for a soul that was never to be mine. All the red flags were there, screaming and yet, I still thought everything was fine.
I wanted to cry.
I badly wanted to cry.
Yet, no tears would come out.
I could only feel this throbbing pain in my chest.
I just want a fresh start and let go of all these baggages in my heart.
No more heartaches, I just want to be the best version of myself.
