It was around one in the morning when she had finally drifted to sleep, as she had gotten one of her frequent and hectic migraines. She had the strangest dream, too, walking the desert in a fierce sandstorm while she passed figures of people she felt she knew yet she had never before seen. What was she even walking to? There was nothing around her until.. Wait, were those lights? She ran as fast as she could into the vicious winds, sand scraping unforgivingly her skin. Right before she got there
though, she was snapped into what seemed to be q new dream. She was in front of a huge house, whose owner was obviously wealthy. She glanced from the house to her surroundings, then rhe ground below her before standing up. Well, this was… Weird.
Marcus was usually never up this early. He wouldn’t have been, if Jake hadn’t alerted him to someone sleeping on his lawn. Aside from the occasional escaped Barista, no one really set foot on his grounds anymore due to his non-existence. This, however… This was different.
He made his way outside, yawning and fluffing out his wings as he did so. He came face to face with this newcomer, tilting his head with a groggy blink. “Sup, kiddo. Y’lost or somethin?”
