Was playing around in Blender with Ghost and...

So, ahem.

Ghost, who does anything he can to make sure he never forgets Soap.

Soap's death left him devastated, feeling empty. Yes, he still had Gaz and Price next to him but he was missing his Johnny..

He wanted to make sure that, no matter what, he will never forget that damn Scottish blabbermouth; so, he starts buying. He buys contact lenses the same color as Johnny's, so that everytime he looks in the mirror he can pretend he's looking into his eyes. He buys the beverages Johnny liked, not to drink, but to have them there. And, as if didn't give him enough worried looks just from seeing the colored contacts, he also got the exact tattoo Johnny had.

Price talked to him about it, he knew people grieved differently but it was worrying to say the least. Hell, he didn't act like that when his mother passed..

Ghost only thought it was enough when he took Soap's clothes from his barracks room when cleaning it out, just to bring them in his. He stared at Soap's clothes in his closet, rubbing his bare face.

"Miss you, Johnny.." he murmurs, bringing Soap's dogtags to his lips.

best friend!Simon who will stop by your place unannounced, knowing that you're home and you probably wouldn't notice his text anyways.

best friend!Simon who has feelings for you and you have feelings for him but both of you have bonded over your emotional unavailability and are afraid to confess to each other properly

best friend!Simon who gives you over-the-top compliments when you do something nice for him. made him a chicken quesadilla? he's calling you a culinary genius. kept the spare clean for him if he wanted to drop by your place for some drinks? you're a godsent genius.

speaking of drinks at your place; both of you prefer drinking in private places, like your place. Simon doesn't care much for getting drunk around strangers and you're a home body in the first place. you can both get shit faced in each others company, knowing that you're safe and respected in each others company.

both of you will have bouts of friendly competition over games. when you both sit down on the couch to play Guitar Hero in your living room, you both play on your respective guitars. best friend!Simon brought stickers and art supplies so you both could decorate the plastic guitars. his is decorated with impressive sketches scribbled with silver sharpy and skull stickers. yours is covered with sanrio stickers and other cute stickers you had laying around the house.

best friend!Simon who will invite you outside for a walk at night. he knows you need to get out of the house (it's good for your mental health) and you use him as scary dog privilege to enjoy the silence of the outdoors at night.

best friend!Simon who will also go on late night trips to whatever is actually open for you to buy food from at 3am when neither of you can sleep.
