Yesterday were the elections, and it was my first time voting

And I found out I had to vote at the ΕΠΑΛ school

And I was kinda annoyed at that

My teacher was like "why do you hate the school do much?"

And ok let's forget whatever rivarly ΕΠΑΛ might have with the rest of the ΓΕΛs around the island, I don't really care, like sure a bunch of people I don't really like go there but that's not the main reason I was annoyed

Supposedly you have to vote at the place you live at right?

So why did I have to go to the other side of the island? Why was I registered there?

My mom said it's bc when I was born we lived in the city

But when I spoke to my friend she said she was also voting in a different village "cause her father is from there" she never lived there

So am I voting there just because my father is???

Yeah it may be stupid but I'm mad at that

Like I had a test and had to go all the way to town just to vote where I could have done it in 5 minutes if I was registered here (and sure, I could just not go but I ended up going)

Why does it pay so much role "who you father is"

Everything is so full of patriarchy

I have his last name, in the exams I have to wrote down his name but not my mom's, in the elections I have to go to his place

Why???

I want nothing to do with him and even after 18 years he still bothers me
