Alyssa Wong’s work will appear in the “Aero” comics, which follows the eponymous superhero. Aero is teamed up with Cebuana superhero Wave, who also has powers related to the elements. Wave can manipulate water, while Aero can control air.
So I don't know if you've ever seen True Blood but like... I decided to rewatch it and the premise is basically that vampires are a thing people know about and a fair chunk of them just wanna live their lives (and are able to since synthetic blood got invented), but the whole thing is still pretty taboo. The main character *spoiler train passes by* and can read minds (just not vampire ones), people who don't know her tend to think that she's cute but crazy or dumb, she's friendly, but shy (1/2)
(though she gets a lot more confident through ~cHaRaCtEr dEvElOpMeNt~) and is most definitely a virgin. Then, in comes the main love interest, who has kind of a dumb name for being a vampire, is Tall Dark And Really Fucking HotTM, has a scary exterior but soft sweet loving heart, and just -- Sidney Crosby, waiter at Lemieux's Bar and Grill, saving a vampire named Geno from having all of his blood drained out of him (vampire blood is basically cool drugs) after hearing two bar patrons think (2/3)
about kidnapping him for it. Sid and G talking afterwards, and Geno looking at the two or so bags of his blood that had already been drained from him, and asking Sid if he'd wanna drink it ("No!") -- since it boosts human health and also does GR8 things for a person's sex life. Sidney's response: "Well, I'm as healthy as a horse, and I have no sex life to speak of... so you can just keep it." (3/3)
