Puzzle platformer Ooo now available for Switch; coming to PS5 on March 11, Xbox Series in March - Gematsu

Publisher AMATA Games and developers NamaTakahashi, tiny cactus studio, and Tsuyomi have released side-scrolling puzzle platformer Ooo for Switch for $10.99, with PlayStation 5 to follow on March 11, and Xbox Series version in March, the companies announced.

Ooo first launched for PC via Steam on August 7, 2025.

A bomb caterpillar’s big adventure! Ooo is an exploration-based puzzle-platformer set in a cute yet mysterious world, where players must discover creative ways to utilize various explosive abilities. Developed by creators NamaTakahashi, Hachinosu, and Tsuyomi, the game was released in August 2025. Its unique “knowledge-based” gameplay has earned “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews from a vast number of players.

The game has also received immense critical acclaim on the global stage, including being named a finalist for Game Design at the D.I.C.E. Awards and for Excellence in Design at the IGF Awards. Furthermore, it has won prestigious accolades such as the Gold Winner in the IGN Japan PC Puzzle category at the NYX Game Awards and Best Puzzle Design at the Thinky Awards 2025.
