Hey does anyone have any ideas/thoughts on a possible title for Wen Ning in a canon AU/fix-it where he lives and doesn't become the Ghost General? I mean like obviously it's got quite the Punch to it but he deserves a title that comes from his own accomplishments rather than association.

Just trying to brainstorm but it's difficult because there's an interplay between a character's circumstances/self and their title that we don't really get in the canon timeline since he originally dies so young. I'm just trying to think about the kind of person he would have become if he'd truly been able to live his life. We know he's capable of great loyalty and has strong morals but that kind of gets overshadowed in the plot because of what happens to Jin Ling's parents.

Also can we like appreciate how pretty his courtesy name is for a hot sec? It's a waste that I hardly see people USE it it's like how a lot of people fall into the habit of having a character address Jiang Cheng by his birth name in situations where his title or courtesy name would be much more appropriate? This doesn't happen with the main character but only to Jiang Cheng and it's kind of a blind spot in this fandom.

Aside from slight nausea and concern for kohei, thoughts on ch 236:

Can he decay only out of sheer hatred? Cause when he thought EVERYONE it might've slipped out onto his dog.

He might hold some type of unconscious belief that this also applies to objects and is still able to activate his quirk with 5 fingers but in actuality with the feeling of hatred (which is apparently constant) which is why he holds everything with 4 fingers. (Might explain the 5 fingered glove thing, where he was more in the state of shock and confusion then any intense hatred, also the realization and remore for what he did might've been why didnt fall apart when he remembered, kinda of a stretch)

If his quirk does activate through this strong hatred then that's probably why it didnt show its face until this moment, a year after it should have developed

If this is also true then it's possible that if his father wasnt abusive and if he had a normal childhood he may have grown up to be a normal kid (unless he met with a certain bully that made him feel hatred so strongly ((cough cough sneeze)))

So if any of this is true what would happen if he actually chilled out (kinda the opposite of what his character is)

Also it's pretty sad that his mom and sister were likely being abused too and they all couldn't fully understand the situation they were in, especially tenko and Hana who is literally 5 and some

This is wild cause this form of his quirk suggest that he trained his 'decay' to be more broken up to the point of dust like, might be AFO's help

The theory could all be wrong and it really might be AFO's involvement from afar like tenko thought.

Ughh I really want to know what nana's quirk is and that Izuku be the one to find what it is firstHAND (get it lmao) 👀
