What magic school does Cassia go to, if the same ones even exist in the Spiral by that point? DOES Ravenwood exist anymore or did things change entirely by the time the Quasar has their apotheosis? 👀👀👀👀

OOO so by this point, Dasein, the sweetheart that he is, has kinda sorta put the schools of magic in a blender lolol,, he didn’t really do it on purpose, it was just a symptom of Novus continuing to grow in power and influence alongside Dasein himself. it’s like everybody is weaving all the other schools by default, including shadow and astrals, and spells are kinda weird

Ravenwood does still exist ! Being bartleby’s scion, Ryan was careful to preserve his lil house. The school has physically changed, n bartleby’s really the only one any of us would recognize lol,, id say Mellori is still there tho, idk how her whole deal works but I think she deserves to be a full god, as a treat

Ryan’s basically the only one who knows magic the way we know it cause, well, they’re the only one left who remembers. The arcanum miiight have some documentation stored away somewhere, but they suffer from storing *too* much data, as well as walling off perfectly good info just cause someone was rude a century or two ago (The Old One effect lol), until new members who were never given info become old members who pass on their gaps in knowledge. And ofc Raven and Spider are still sitting around in their little forest, so they’re no help either lol

Cassia could most closely be described as storm weaving into life and shadow,, she’s into playing support, but also knows how to smack ppl with a few lightning bolts. And ofc there’s the whole shadow incident :-)
