I'm happy to see that people are making jokes about Shanks taking the breakup with Buggy so badly that he went and joined the holy knight.

But there's such a depthful conversation to be had about the fact that Shanks probably had this plan in the making before logue town, but was willing to throw all this away if Buggy had just said yes.

Like, Shanks really tied his freedom to Buggy damn.

When anything comes to Shanks is when I return, few things:

#1 With the bandage across his eye we finally have a time frame of when Blackbeard attacked him.

#2 This is 15 years ago and he was actively gathering information against the WG. He also was the one to free Fisher Tiger, who in turn then goes to free the slaves including Boa, her sisters, and Koala.

#3 It feels so... odd seeing him this clean, this bathed, this dressed up. And it's Shamrock shown here with the slutty boob window 💀

Scans are cleaned but here above is Shanks giving an Oscar winning performance about killing whoever freed the slaves though he was in truth responsible for it happening. 11/10.
