Lets start with 2 who were'nt affected: Garnet and Alexandrite, they still the same, just a little difference...

All I did was change the design, details placement. And now Garnet have 4 arms, just like how Opal did;

Going in order of apparition. There it is: fire quartz, taking the place of smoky;

Druzy quartz, taking Rainbow 2.0 place;

And last, but not least Rainbow Aura quartz, switing sunstone.

Druzy and Rainbow Aura may got a update sooner or later, Just saying...

One of the AUs witch always sparked my interest was the Opal AU.

I dont have any idea how the history would go on if Opal was Garnet. Because there is so much lore, that i cant just replace sapphire with pearl and vice versa. This is also part 1. Part 2 will be fusions.

By defalt: Opal=Garnet; Sapphire=Pearl; Ruby=Amethyst;

Opal has very cat like reflexs... Whenever they get spooked by Comet... They just poof up and jump onto the nearest thing they can see and god is it funny... He got it from Leo

I love your Opal au! Seeing the post about Draxum’s redemption arc is giving me two thoughts, One: I feel that if Draxum tried to apologize it would end up a lot like Bojack apologizing to Herb. And two: Dad Splinter, having heart to hearts? Yes! Need that, like just imagine he believes Opal resents him because HE BELIEVES they should, when in reality Opal doesn't know if they DESERVE a dad, since they weren't enough for Draxum, Self blame is pretty commen with abuse like this, false closure.

i completely agree with your second point, Splinter will always feel guilty for being able to save all but one of the turtles, and seeing Opal more and how they turned out just solidifies his self blame, it would take time and many many conversations/bonding for Splinter to forgive himself and that’s only if Opal forgives him first

I think the anger of having such a miserable upbringing would have dissipated from Opal in their early childhood, they don’t blame Splinter it’s exactly like you say, Opal aims to people please, it’s how they were molded by Draxum, it’ll take some convincing that they /were/ worth saving, and that they still are now, it’s never too late to turn a new leaf especially at the young age of 13, Opal’s got their whole life ahead of them, they can make plenty of new memories with their newfound brothers and father
