More Opeli in Season Three
So I think we all know and love the wonderful Miss Opeli, the advisor/council member that’s always there to yell at Viren when he really deserves it and keep everyone in check. While she has fans already, I think the fandom can just about unanimously agree we want to see more of her and her character! So I have a few quick thoughts and hopes for her in season three:
I think it would be awesome to see her as sort of a regent/advisor for Ezran when he gets back to Katolis. He’s not going to know how to rule yet, he’s grown up thinking he would much later on in his life, but he’s king already. If any experienced advisor is honest and loyal enough to Katolis, can guide Ezran through ruiling, help him, and not take advantage of the position, it’s Opeli. This gives us a chance to not only see Ezran grow and for him to learn, but also for us to see more of Opeli (and if she has a soft spot for sweet, good kids like him which I’m betting she does).
Bonus scenario: imagine the pentarchy calling a crisis meeting because of the shadow-assassins Viren sent to the other four kingdoms. Opeli going to represent Katolis and taking Ezran with her for the experience (IM GETTING BIG BIG SISTER FIGURE OPELI VIBES).
Extra bonus for the fellow Opeli/Fareeda fans and the Ezran and Aanya friendship fans: you probably put this together already but thEY GET TO MEET EACH OTHER!!!
okay but Opeli takes her position very seriously and professionally but a certain queen is making it difficult- *cough* Fareeda is stressed and adorable *cough*
also Aanya feeling less alone and maybe more confident because she’s not the only child ruler there and then FRIENDSHIP
