Yes, Geoff apologized, but what we still don't know is: do they regret doing it? Are they still going to do it? Do they even understand why this was an issue? It feels like an excuse to avoid the subject. He says "we regret what was said", so they regret this coming out to light so they could kept doing it? He says it was exaggerated, well, I call it harrasment. I've been stalked by cars before, and it doesn't feel like a game to me.
I talked about this a bit in my tags
and how i'd like a video apology.
I'm not making excuses for them, but they did apologize and remove the video. Whether it was to avoid more bad publicity or it was because they sincerely cared, it still happened and that's a start.
We cannot change the world overnight but we made enough noise to have something be done, and that's impressive, even if it was small.
I'm still creeped out by it. I'm still uncomfortable and it's still very unsettling. But they aren't the only people on the RoosterTeeth staff, and I dont want to throw away watching good content because of the creators. It's the same with Doctor Who. Moffat is the type of person that kind of terrifies me, but in the end I'll keep watching Doctor Who. But we have more influence over the RT crew than we have over Moffat, and our fuss brought about change. And that's important.
