A huge thank you for everyone who 1) sent in suggestions for the themes and also for 2) voting. A total of 34 votes!!
Another special thank you to everyone who answered why they ship FRobin! It's always good to remember why we all love this ship so much!
Another shoutout to @pokeharvest for creating the graphics!
Keep your eyes open for the themes!
Why do you ship FRobin?
"your existence is not a sin" and he won my and Robin's heart 🤌
it started in december 2021 as a joke with my bf who wanted zoro to be with robin and when I saw that scene in Water 7/Enies Lobby of them on the sea train I was like "honey I tell you Robin would choose to fuck that guy over zoro any day" and then we both noticed how much chemistry they both actually had. At some point we were both looking at each other and the tv back and forth being like "did you fucking see that" and I literally squaked when the CBT scene happened.
So yeah I started shipping them to annoy my bf and I got really hooked by them because of their chemistry, the way they are pretty much opposites personality-wise but share a pretty specific experience to bond deeply, the way Franky reminds Robin of Saul with his words and actions and how that makes her reflect on her life and think of him as a treasure, how they both relate to the other strawhats as their parents, how they know each other so well they can basically predict what the other one is going to say, how he's always close to her and they're both the first ones to protect each other, how even the animators in TOEI ship them so much that they add in little scenes to make situations a bit more romantic (also! knowing that Oda did personally add things in the anime that were not in the manga because he didn't have time or because he forgot makes me wonder how much of those anime frobin scenes were just TOEI animators being silly and goofy or Oda being like "yeah I do kinda like a little romance"), and the way they feel so, so real. I just love them so much -I'm pretty obsessed ngl- and it is a ship that brings me so much joy.
also I love frobin because they're basically canon but not technically so yeah I can actually win silly debates online and feel like the best of the worst type of people online lol
Because they are super!
They understand each other on a level no one else does and Franky didn't hesitate to say that she deserves to live during the sea train arc
They are perfect
It's more of a causal thing. I love the content that other creators make of this ship, some of is so cute and soft that how can you NOT like it? Plus Nico Robin deserves to have good things in her life.
Honestly I just love them. I fell out of love with One Piece but they keep me coming back. They're wholesome and good and bonkers and amazing. Overall completely underappreciated!
I love the smart goofball and smart goth dynamic. She's always tired of his shit, but is always amused. He's madly in love and in awe of her brilliance. I also like the idea that they could be romantic, platonic, or kinky.
I just think they are so very in love and nothing could convince me otherwise
I ship frobin because of their dynamic during enies, thriller bark , and they are just cute overall love the idea of them as a couple.
While waiting for the annual Corazon Week held in July, we can show our love for Rocinante in the upcoming Cora’s Valentine!
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Coming back for the fourth consecutive year, this event is of course inspired by Valentine’s Day. It will run from Feb. 12th to Feb. 14th, but late entries will be accepted and reblogged till the end of February.
To participate, create a post about any Corazon/Roci ship (platonic or romantic) or the character alone. As long as it’s about love, anything is accepted: fanarts, fanfics, fan mixes, headcanons, analysis, edits*, collaborations, crossovers, OCs, self-inserts, etc.
Only SFW contributions will qualify for the event, though; this blog isn’t marked as explicit and we would prefer to keep it like this. Furthermore, please no bashing of any pairings or harassing other fans.
You can make as many contributions as you want as long as they are new or never published before, and we also allow crossposting (posting your contribution for more than a single event).
Please include #CorasValentine2023 in one of the first five tags of your contribution(s), and also mention this blog (@corazon-week) so that we can find your posts and reblog them.
❤️ ❤️ ❤️
If you have any question feel free to contact us, and remember to spread the love by reblogging this post!
*(Only edits of official artworks, figures, manga panels/anime screenshots are accepted; do not submit other people’s works or edited versions of them unless you got permission first.)
Thanks again to @hello-velia-odinson for the lovely logo! ❤️

FAQ (under the cut)
If there’s something we forgot to cover, please don’t hesitate to contact us and ask!
What is the OP Bingo?
The OP Bingo is a challenge event where participants will receive a 3 x 3 bingo card with simple trope based prompts they can then use to create fanworks.
How do I sign up?
A link to the signup form will be posted on October 10th, and it will be permanently posted here during the sign up period.
How long does it run?
The final posting deadline is February 1st, 2021.
What kind of media is allowed?
The FAQ and info focuses mostly on art and fics, but we are open to other media as well, we just need you to list it in the sign up form and we will be happy to create individual requirements based on the media you’re working with.
What is the word minimum for writing?
Each prompt fill must be at least 1 500 words to qualify. There is no max word count, but note that your story has to be finished and posted in full by the time we wrap up the event!
What is the requirement for art?
One finished piece of art per prompt. We understand that “finished piece” is completely subjective for each artist, so a finished piece is what you individually consider finished for your own art. However, to keep things fair, this means that simple sketches don’t qualify as a blacked out square, but can be companion pieces. If you’re interested in creating comics, let us know and we’ll give out more info in your confirmation email.
I don’t want to over-commit. Is blacking out the entire card a requirement?
You need to have at least one square done to qualify, but it’s not mandatory to complete the whole card. Participants that get a bingo (complete the whole card) will get a special masterpost feature in our archive.
How are prompts decided?
Prompts are randomly generated based on a pre-made list with a higher weight given to your responses to the sign-up questionnaire.
Will I have a chance to exchange any or all of my card?
You will have an opportunity to exchange up to two of your prompts by the end of sign ups. You just have to email us and let us know. We will only accept these requests through email, by replying to the email you received your card in (for the sake of keeping this process as simple as possible).
Can I do more if I finish my entire card?
Sure! If you finish your bingo card before the deadline, you may ask for another one. The same rules will apply.
What exactly will my prompts look like?
In the spirit of artistic freedom, we’re keeping the prompts simple based on widespread tropes and general ideas so you can go wild and create whatever comes to mind when you see a given prompt.
Will there be a collection on AO3?
Yes. An OP Bingo collection will be available on AO3; the name and collection tag will be announced on the blog once it’s created and open for business. We will also include the official tags for the art on the blog at this time.
When can I start on my bingo card?
You can start as soon as you receive your card, which will be right after you sign up! Posting will open 2 weeks after the sign ups start so you’ll have plenty of time to write and post your entries..
Are AUs allowed? What about crossovers?
As long as you’re following the prompt (and you’re focused on the OP characters you’re writing about), this event is a free for all in regards to AUs and crossovers.
Are any ships allowed?
Absolutely! Any ships or character focused works are allowed. Romantic ships aren’t mandatory though and gen work is absolutely welcome as well.
Are any themes (such as major archive warnings) forbidden?
We’re not putting any limitations on what you can create, but we do ask that everything is properly tagged and warned for. We reserve the right to exclude works from our archive and the collection if you fail to properly warn for any triggering material. We are keeping all prompts SFW as this is an event open to everyone, but we do ask everyone to keep things fair and not create NSFW content if you are under 18. We also reserve the right to exclude any NSFW work from our archive and collection, if it’s brought to our attention that it was created by a minor.
Do I need a beta?
You can use a beta if you’d like, but it’s not a requirement.
Can I kill two squares with one story?
We want to limit this event as little as possible, so we are okay with using two prompts for one story. However, to keep things fair, we’d like to add some guidelines for writing one fill for two prompts:
The minimum requirement per prompt is 1 500 words which means a single story about two prompts should be at least 3 000 words long with equal focus on both prompts
If you’d like to write a chaptered story with one prompt per chapter, the same minimum requirement applies - your chapters should be at least 1 500 words long
