Something i dont understand is the "hero story" that Pixar continues to play out. Their "pwotagonists" ;D ( tht was for u Lidea) are too good.........TOO GOOD I TELL U!!!! There is too much compassion and pain mixed together. This blog post FYI is mainly a response and record of my reaction to the movie: "Astroboy" in which the young protagonist; Toby, has way too good of a heart. His father rejects him, tells him honestly and wholeheartedly that he cant stand seeing him and kicks him out of the house. Tragic and classic history of the protagonist........... However, it is so.....so....FRUSTRATING when even after the father shows no remorse and basically kills him, he has second thoughts AFTER he kills Toby and brings him back to "life" and im like "Woah what the crackers and cheese just happened?!" The father was never lovey dovey very much from the beginning, but i digress..... Toby is a genius and his father says so himself but just because he tests out some Da Vinci theories the dad goes nuts and says that he isnt like his son. And im like WHAAAAATTTTTT?????? Because he is an exact replica of the first Toby. Hes just being sour kraut cuz Toby's death was HIS fault..... *SIGHH* but anyway....enough of my angered ranting at Pixar. Its Christmas time! The season of presents, trees, lights, awkard family get togethers and the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ :) Am i wrong in saying that besides the giant break off school, the cookies are amazing??? I mean seriously i lovvvvee cookiesssss :) my mom made the peanut butter ones rolled in sugar with chocolate kisses in the middle :D arent u salivating???? Me too :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ode to Barbara Striesand and Leisha Marie Riddle :) I have the song "Dont Rain On My Parade" from the Barbara Striesand movie: "Funny Girl" (the movie is like 4 hours but its amazing :D ) in my head and it wont go away, which i dont mind but i think im drivin everyone else nuts cuz ive been singing it for maybe 3-4 days strait :) sooooooo catchy. But beside it being catchy.......i have to say something about the spectacular animation skills of miss or mrs (whichevr the case may be) Leisha Marie Riddle. Ms Riddle has made an animation to this song and a partially processed version is on youtube in my favorites :) *note to self: post link l8tr* Nonethless it is awesome and cute :3 or at least i think so. I think my next blog post will probably be about music, animation, art, Batman, or crazy stuff :) cuz thts jst the grl i am :) i salute u all ~ ThornAngel
