Had so much fun making this that I can't wait to remix Street-Catz' next song in the near future. Check it out also on Newgrounds: click me!
An EA-7 Optica spotted on final approach into Henstridge Airfield in Somerset, UK
This odd looking aircraft is an Edgley EA-7 Optica. It is a British light aircraft designed for low-speed observation work, and intended as a low-cost alternative to helicopters. The Optica made it's first flight in December 1979 with only 22 aircraft being manufactured. Ten aircraft were destroyed in an arson attack at the factory. As of 2023–2024, IFG and IFG-Capital are the exclusive advisors and investment brokers of the Optica aircraft program and actively engaged with investors and OEM's for the program re launch.

The Edgley Aircraft 'Optica' was the subject of the Eagle Data File No. 36 from Eagle No. 57, dated 23 April 1983. It first flew in 1979 and only around 20 ended up being built (with a varying amount of those being reported as destroyed in a factory fire in 1987). The Optica may also be familiar to anyone who has seen the 1989 movie 'Slipstream' (which isn't many, let's be honest).
